Looking good Mike. I went for what looks like the same Dobinsons suspension setup as you on my Prado except for upgrade of the upper control arms and the panhard rod. At the time, I asked Dobinsons, who also fitted the suspension upgrade, about it and they mentioned that I didn’t need it for my 2” lift. It seems to me that those items aren’t part of the GVM upgrade system for the Prado as tested and commissioned by Malaga Suspensions in Perth. I did however go for a couple of high pressure (60PSI max) AirBag Man airbags in the rear for ride height adjustability in the rear when towing the caravan which is a 15ft hybrid similar to your Jayco Crosstrack. Thus far, the whole system seems to work nicely. Apart from that and if not already installed, I highly recommend installation of a DO35 hitch as opposed to the standard towball joint on your towbar and of course caravan for safety (accidental caravan rollover). Looking forward to your Prado/caravan travel adventures and comparison with my this far limited travel experiences 🤘

Recently ordered 4 IMS for my '03 4Runner but won't be receiving them until January. Will be installing with Toyota FJ springs, which are on there now and replacing the 4600 Bils. Have already installed SPC UCA and SuperPro bushings in LCA and all rear control arms so am expecting a better ride quality from the Dobinsons. I don't off road, street machine only. Located in northern Illinois, USA.

Remote Reservoir on shocks not needed for general 4wd- but great for washboard / corrugation road especially at speeds….

Nice video! So, how does the car ride when you don’t have 300-400kg loaded up? Is it still pleasant to drive, or will it need the weight at all times in order to not break your back over a pothole?

I only know Dobinsons, I was recommended to use their product for its reliability, price and proven reputation. So far I am very happy with Dobinsons 👍

Hi mike I have installed 2inch dobinson lift on my 2016 Prado 150 Kakadu after the installation check headlight system warning light came on problem is no one can turn off the warning ⚠️ light can you please help me with this problem thanks!! 🙏 (Install by auto craze at silverwater Sydney)

The auto levelling headlights and auto dimming needs re calibrating because you've changed the height of vehicle

Hey there. It was about $3500 approximately all up including labour. I'm very happy with it. Tows the caravan perfectly.

Not sure why the comment, I'm extremely happy with his work and knowledge, and so are other people. The purpose of that video was just to have a brief chat about oils and how confusing it can. Not too deep a discussion. 👍
