But because of some filthy, cringy and cheesy dialogues and scenes it's becoming an headache to watch them nowadays. But I can't believe how they did everything right to bring Sita Ramama a masterpiece, you will definitely miss something out if you didn't watch this movie in the theatre(because it's that kind of a film aka once in a blue moon kind). This masterpiece is so damn good i already watched it twice in theatres and I never do that often, it's a must watch in theatres.

As a telugu person i would say Liger is directed by telugu director Puri Jagannath and he is only reason for this shit , he is alone to be blamed . He is not just outdated but also problematic masala director . There are many routine directors like him in telugu . These masala directors become star directors because of Telugu stars who don't have sense and does routine masala films . I saw liger in theatres, calling it cringe was an understatement. I felt while making a combat based film, makers should consult someone who has actually competed in combat. Not just for action scenes but also to understand the mindset of a fighter. Because fighting is very different from hitting a ball. Also the main lead actors were not from the Telugu industry but still the movie worked. It also showed that Telugu cinema audience had more diverse Palette and are most acknowledging audience like everyone says. I think Bollywood was mostly successful & relevant because of large Hindi speaking audience and remakes. Baahubali changed it forever and Bollywood dying is for good because It’s time for Indian cinema to shine.

The thing is tamil and south indian cinema and tbh Every Indian movie has these "tropes". The thing these tropes when done well, god well you just got your self a war or a RRR, war had nailed the production value and character hype and RRR pretty much was 100 on all scales. The thing is romcom as he says is actually dead, and calling the dhanush film and a same old romcom is stupid. Thirtchitrabalam is not the same old thing, it's an actual modern spin on a relationship we all grow through at least once. A true to life but a life you would be happy living in, the film showed what a modern man and what a modern friendship looks like. No longer are the romantic scenes from a gov bus (those were the days man) no longer is the stalkish romance scenes. It's this, a movie about a simple man learning about himself and the people around him. And ofc this movie would not have worked out without the actors and quality of the script, if the movie is bad trsut me it would be criticised for days (case and point Liger) but if itd good at what it does and tries be what it wants to be without compromising, well you will get a movie that is just amazing.

I don't believe that Karan was wrong with saying rom-com genre is dead. he meant the Hindi version that they were doing was dead. Yes "pyar ka panchanama" type movies will emerge from the Hindi ethos, but the traditional bollywood rom-com was dead. Also Karan Johar hyped Puri Jagannatha from his previous track record. He didn't know what Puri would do to the film "Liger". and we all know what he did. Karan may have felt to let Jagannatha hold the reign considering him to be better while being frank/open with other directors on his movie sets he produces, with regards to inputs. I watch movies from all industry. Telugu is very good their story is top notch but there are too many cringe scenes in the movies which looks great for fan boys but not for everyone. They need to take that into consideration. Even in RRR there are too many unwanted scenes which can be edited. I am from kerala but if I recommend some movies to my friends abroad I will definitely go for tamil industry because they produce mass movies but also many world class movies at a same time that's different from our usual cringe loaded mass template.

@@suthishofficial the movies mentioned above doesnt have ant shit yoy mentioned about telugu cinema Most of the reviewers are always biased towards telugu cinema Sole reason is because most have leftist mindset. Telugu kannad films are bridging the gap between North and South. Which seems to hurt them All these days they keep comparing north vs south. South was only meant to be tamil and malayalam movies. For godsake we go to movies to get entertained and distract ourselves from reality. Not to see same reality things in reel life. Movies are always meant to entertain ..thats the primary goal of it..adding bonus is message in the movie which is extra bonus. Be it thriller or comedy or mass entertainers or romance or period filsm ..telugu industry had a film released in every genre. They were one step ahead than anyother south industry. Although thet lost their aura in mid 2010*s ...there high budged in those days Mayabazaar which was blockbuster . It was colorized 5 years back as a tribute to the actors. You should have seen tamil movies with vijay in 90's and 2000's...hell lot of movies were unbearable and lot of cringe to it. Both industries had lot of cringe. But its just telugu industry didnt make worth national award appealing movies. As they were purely meant to entertain telugu audience. Now the taste of present gen has changed. Telugu audience welcomed any hero from any other industry. But its not the same case wuth tamil or malayalam. Tamil audience just troll anything and everything that coems their way. But when their own industries produces duds and shit movies...they remain tight lipped

@@premkuamr6343 Then you are telugu fan boy Apart from story and technical RRR iteself is full of cheesy acting and cringeness compared to baahubali 1 which also has some but bearable Reviewers are not biased it's just true. You need to read again my comment. I do like telugu movies because i used to it but I can't recommend to my friends abroad. Tamil movies do produce cringe films but if 10 films are released per year atleast 5 are top notch which can be liked by all type of audience. The last I watched "thiruchitrambalam from tamil" and "Thallumaala from malayalam" if you watch that you can also understand what I am saying. it's easily recommended to anyone outside india. Even sita ramam is a telugu film but it's more focused on malayalam audience.

Even before Bahubali there were Pan Indian movie with success and paved way the upcoming movies... Robot, Robot 2.0, Dhasavatharam, Vishwaroopam, Vishwaroopam 2 but they did not explicitly put the tag line, "pan India" flim..and these are Tamil films.. ✌️✌️✌️

Kamal Hassan in 80’s had all pan India release& huge fans everywhere .Even Indian in late 90’swas big hit.. Some how ,Rajini & Kamal didn’t try pan India movie very often .U missed Kabali, inspite it was Tamil movie ,they hype was huge during release throughout India . All time opening record everywhere, InsPite average movie , bcz of the hype , the film collected more 300-400crores..Even Indian cricketers were tweeting during kabali releaseAnyhow now Vikram 3 have huge potential to break all records.. incase thalapathy 67 Is part of Lcu & Well written .. No one can stop Vikram 3 opening with Kamal, Vijay ,surya , Karthik, fahadh Fasil starrring .. no one can stop it …
Legendary RAJ KAPOOR thought Mera naam jocker will be a Blockbuster, but failed miserably. He also made another film with new hero & heroin with low expectation and that film (BOBBY) became a massive hit. What audiences think, no one know.

The thing is i hate romance and rom com nowadays... especially in Indian films such a beautiful genre will be an beautiful emotional roaster coaster ride it's done right. But because of some filthy, cringy and cheesy dialogues and scenes it's becoming an headache to watch them nowadays. But I can't believe how they did everything right to bring Sita Ramama a masterpiece, you will definitely miss something out if you didn't watch this movie in the theatre (because it's that kind of a film a.k.a once in a blue moon kind). This masterpiece is so damn good i already watched it twice in theatres and I never do that often, it's a must watch in theatres.

That's all . Period. You Show the love towards the people in form catering what audience wants , They will show you love in terms of boxoffice .

Good films will work irrespective of genre, its the content and not the label that matters! A very good script backed up by good screenplay and proper acting will work even without big names, the opposite is also true.

Todays condition with audience preferences is going to force filmmakers like Johar to go back to what they really are ..businessmen.They will continue making money due to their various collaborations, marketing and distribution but if they are trying to figure out their own ‘artistic’ groove they are going to have a tough time. There wasn’t much to begin with
