The main reason I know as an American as to why Bollywood is failing is because they promote moral based stories and romance emotional crap but never practice it in real life. South movies have more action and better technical links with their effects. Hollywood is mostly all fantasy action that Bollywood budgets can not compete with, nor be creative about so they resort to moral based stories. The sushant nepotism case ruined the audience moral outlooks of their actors and actresses.

Now Sitaramam and Karthikeya 2 became blockbusters . Bimbisara is also an above average masala fantasy film ( it had time travel angle atleast away from routine plot ) , so it became hit . Why have you avoided, so far in any video, those three big letters-- KGF? In this video, you even had the most appropriate context. But you took up Vikram, which made ~10 crores in Hindi belt, which makes it irrelevant to Bollywood's perfomance analysis, but skipped mentioning KGF2 which made whopping 450 crores (in Hindi). Currently Bollywood is in the hands of elites of South Bombay. All of them regret that they are born in India. Have you ever seen any Bollywood actor wearing dhoti, kurta, lungi no. They have lost connection from ground, they are living in western mindset. They are representing American woke culture here. In South movies all actors wear dhoti, in every movie Hero is from village. All North Indian audience rejected Bollywood now. TVF is the only hope because their content is best. Boycott trend is the most illogical controversy created by Bollywood. Also Bollywood never promoted Hindi language infact they have destroyed Hindi language because they are promoting Urdu, that's why people are calling it urduwood and karachiwood. Totally agree with your and Anurag's pov. I'd like to add some more points to this list. 1. No/Less diversity and inclusion in Bollywood cinemas. People are more aware about their identity now than before. 90% of the South India Blockbusters from last 3/4 years have the main characters representing lower caste and class. Ex - KGF, RRR, Kabaali, Kaala, Asuran, Jai Bheem, Jan Gan Man etc. Bollywood cinemas and Tv series completely lack this. For ex - 'Luther' is adapted by Ajay Devgn into 'Rudra'. Even though Luther doesn't focus on race (For this Luther was criticized heavily) but the main character is a black. In Rudra, Main character is an upper caste from North India working in Mumbai, Maharashtra. 2. No pan-India appeal. Moviegoers of non-Hindi regions can't relate to the characters of Hindi films anymore. For ex - Maharashtra is the biggest market for Hindi film but the Marathi characters are limited to just Maids, Sub-Inspectors, Rikshawalas etc. They are doing this for like 30-40 years and now people of small towns got so irritated because of this that they stopped consume Hindi Cinema in theatre. 3. Because of the widespread availability of Mobiles/private screens, people have developed their own taste in movies. Family/group movie watching is getting less and less. 4/5 years before I had to watch things on TV with my family even though most of it's content I didn't like but we didn't have choice and now we do have a choice. Everyone has a private screen (Phone/Laptops) so we watch whatever we like in our own space. Now there is hardly a time when whole family sits and watch something on TV except sports, news and some events.

One major reason no one is talking about is the relationship south stars have with their fan base, irrespective of the fact that they may be a product of nepotism or not, they do make sure to invest all the time n money in building a solid, faithful fan base and this fan base guarantees money first 3 days… this is what’s lacking in north - all the star kids who pretty much occupy the industry have taken things for granted n never really thought of dedicating their time to connecting with their fans at ground level - n am not talking about instagram or twitter posts or riding on local train (while the previous day you were flying in private jet) but actually meeting fans, participating in social causes and funding fans campaigns etc, that’s what will build a solid fan base that you can bank on and that’s why south fans are still eager to see their idol in big screen while their northern counterpart fans are ok to wait for OTT as they lack the craziness n faithfulness of the fans!

when was the last time there was an outsider (not related to existing hero, director, producer, distributer...) who starred in a major bollywood production. any industry that does not take steps to improve its basic raw material (new star talent) will wither away and die. that is how old family businesses fade away and die (no new non-family talent). new heroines seem to be coming in from outside, but heroes all seem to be from within the families. unless this improves, bollywood will die slowly.

Because people were seeing it, You(your statement/logic) sound like Anurag's statement about "Paneer and GST" You are also avoiding the real reason for why people don't want to watch Bollywood, i.e. "Hypocrisy" and before you reply on this point, You must answer why are only one community's culture and beliefs are targeted. why is the same not done for other communities, why didn't PK Aamir's character put a Green Cloth on the road and call it a Mazid? Lastly about SSR, You said there were no "Facts" but did you not watch the news? Wasn't it obvious? I mean the Sun rises from the east (Due to rotation) you don't need proof for this, it's obvious. Lastly, You can call me a Hater or whatever word fancy you, But I didn't know about you, No one made a video of you, I am here because it was in my recommendations. Peace

All these OTT platforms across countries like India, US, Europes are not relaying all the same type of content. Not all movies are available for all the subscribers across all locations in the world. In India few key movies do get relayed only for a specified period of time and later removed. If these things change and 3D movie viewing also come, OTT platforms will amass more subscribers. Theatres should relay good quality movies in 3D & 4D rather than giving crap content. If story, plot and screenplay, overall length, price per ticket, cost of food, parking cost is good, more people will surely come to watch in theatres.

The real reason movies are failing is because of poor content and as ur video describes the price of watching the movie in theatre and OTT has changed the game. Particularly I can point out why Laal Singh Chaddha failed, firstly North East and South states speak regional language 1st then English and then finally Hindi meaning in these regions ppl would have rather checked Forrest Gump instead of spending money to watch LSC. Then the other mindset would have been they rather wait n watch on OTT than spend money to watch Hollywood remake but the boycott gang took credit for the failure of the movie which is not true.

So why rajsha bandhan failed...it gkt positive reviews....mano ya na mano...boycott works
@saimadhavarao2 жыл бұрын
@@kanishkkumar5431 Nope Critics and reviews can be bought case in example The Kashmir Files but word of mouth is what is true and Karthikeya 2 showed that. I'm sorry but movies are failing because of poor content not boycott. If boycott movement was so effective these movies would never have gotten big opening on day 1.

@@saimadhavarao remember lsc was boycott by hindu nationalists ....and it gained muslims and elite hindus support that's wht it collected big.....u should check out. ...films like attack and runway was good movies byt get flopped because of these boycott gangs 😂
@saimadhavarao2 жыл бұрын
@@kanishkkumar5431 I don't think you really understand the situation in Bollywood or have a poor info on the situation. That Hindu nationalists, Muslim and elite hindu is a bunch of BS and a joke. I'm sorry my friend there are hundreds of videos on KZbin not just on LSC but even for Attack and other movies where after watching these movies viewers clearly expressed they are fed up with the poor content in the movies and 2ndly bollywood allows streaming on OTT platforms after 6 weeks of release so ppl don't bother. Boycott gang is only taking advantage of public rejection after first few days and taking credit for them.

Mostly middle class people watch movie in theaters Nowadays those people also in financial crisis… It’s not because of boycott… Poor people they even can’t afford bus fare for going theater.. North Indian middle class family now became very selective and conscious on spending money

200 to 300 for a movie ticket ? bruh.. you could get a luxury recliner seat ticket at that price here in Thrissur, Kerala 🤷🏻♂️. There are movie theatres that provide a top quality movie viewing experience with 4K projection and Dolby Atmos sound at just ₹100.

LMFAO. These are just MINOR reasons. Disrespect and targeting of one particular religion & Indian culture, remaking of South & Hollywood movies, an actor, or a director, or a producer's arrogant and disrespectful past, and the industry's hypocrisy & stubbornness. All of these are among the main reason for the boycott. And this isn't just a phase unless there is a change.

Talking about western movies influencing our directors. And our director forgetting out our roots. Very few directors really dig deep about our culture rest taking it easy by adopting or getting influenced by west

Raunak..let me add some more, related to anger. 1. Holier than thou approach…the jus love to lecture people on what is right to believe and support and conveniently are silent at other times. SSR death just made it super obvious. 2. Hypocrisy and selective call outs. Callout everyone or no one… 3. Aamir khan’s that one statement maybe a small thing for some people. But if you were following international news, they lapped it up. If you think Ukraine war exposed the racism of the liberal media, you should have seen what they did with his statement. Still on Aamir…never said a word about Erdogan, internationally known for human rights violations…and this is about just one guy. And finally to Arjun Kapoor…it was not you ie bollywood who was showing sharafat. It was the public that has been showing sharafat to your over and over again…uncalled for statements. SSR was the final nail on the coffin

Going with south director doesn't mean movie will brother concept story also should be from south talents. And more importantly bollywood actors should leave their stardom at home once they enters sets they have to be one of the team members then only output will be remarkable.

Same is the case with south films, still they are performing excellent.. 1. Strong Content. 2. Huge Fan Base 3. Hero Image - Currently Bollywood is under drug addiction 4. No nepotism 5. No too much of promotion of films 6. Depiction of Hindu gods 7. They would have stood for death like SSR
