I just ordered four of these for my house off temu I'm really hoping for the price there reliable I figure it's better than nothing but fingers crossed I got a good deal on it and it turn out to be a great product because I know some stuff's decent off of there

Hi, so how were your smoke detectors?... Any good?

@@karlinguk so far, no issues. I did get some dollar tree batteries and had to change a change a couple but it's been a while now. I can check the alarms and battery's on my phone. When the fire alarm sounds my phone immediately goes off to let me know. I've played with them with a little candle. no issues.

Hello, How long does it take to stop detecting smoke? I did a test and it detected it but it is still in that condition, detecting smoke

In excessive smoke conditions it can sometimes be required to disassemble the smoke alarm as the sensor will require gently blowing and cleaning out as it's common for them to get blocked up

Can tuya smoke detector sent signal to fire control panel?

Is the Fire Control Panel a Tuya Device aswell or a Smart device at all? If not then no it can't but It's not impossible though if the fire control panel uses a switch then you could try using a finger robot. Do you need to always keep your phone connected to the Internet in order to receive a fire report?

@vintilis1 if the internet is turned off then there is no way for your home network to be able to connect to your phone (outside your home network) so that means you won't receive a notification no. If your at home when a fire happens and you lose Internet connection then it won't matter because your phone can send you the notification over the wifi so a notification will still be received. The Nest Protect is a bit different, it has more features plus its also ia C02 Detector, this Tuya product idetects smoke only but for the price is great value

Nest Smoke Alarm is a different beast. The Nest is a more advanced dual photoelectric alarm, has CO detection, has a nightlight and (if you link it up with a special addon in Home Assistant) can work as a motion detector (motion detection is not in the battery versions). Another advantage of the nest is that it also has a mains powered version. This one is cheaper, comes in either WiFi or Zigbee variants, and can be linked with Home Assistant as well.
