My boyfriend is being charged with domestic against me not on my will I went to his court today to say I do not want charges pressed the state took it over they say they have a witness and I had been drinking alcohol before going to the hospital I believe that the nurses peer pressured me knowing I was under the influence to say he did it which he did not when my blood alcohol results came back they said I was over the limit and made me wait for hours until I could leave now he is stuck in jail for 2 weeks until the next court date because he can not afford to get bailed out can they legally use what the nurses say when I was so heavily under the influence of alcohol?

Hey the prosecutor and ADA wants now speak to me Tuesday about my wishes to dismiss charges against my child’s father . He Has been incarcerated for 9 months and the court date he had on Friday was canceled which was pre trial . I asked the advocate if I can speak to prosecutor to dismiss charges and they scheduled me a meeting with them on dismissing the charges . Do you think they may decide to dismiss them ?

It depends on the prosecutor and the case. I’ve seen those meetings lead to dismissals at times and I’ve seen other prosecutors use them to get victims to confirm their stories and help the state.

Please investigate Livingston county Michigan And contact a lady name Kelsey please help her the county and the state of Michigan ruined her life as to they took her children away from her as the bio father abandoned the family This lady needs help massively she is fighting to stay alive !!! Please help this women she just went through a bad custody support case where no one helped her through her court case the lawyers didn’t tell her she signed off her rights and she owes the child support to the father as too her ssi benefits handed too the father as the kids never knew him the children are living with strangers I sound like I’m all over the place but this women has been through the deepest pits of hell and she can’t climb out She has massive amounts of evidence that she’s the victim and the courts admitted it And she recently had her children taken away from her and her case is over 4 years old Too where the courts just now in the year of 2022. Took her daughters away she is a single mother that raised her children by her self !!!! Please help her !!!!!

@@jeanieologist4456 my husband would terrorize us. It got worse over the years and eventually one day he was threatening to kill our 6 month old. He ripped the phone out of the wall when I called 911. I fled to the neighbor with my 3 small children. The cops responded to the hang up call and spoke with him. I have no idea what he told them but I was arrested only being asked my name. My hand was broken but I didn’t know. They just left my kids with the neighbor. I was breastfeeding at the time. I was released with no charges because the nurse had a cop come in a hear my side.

I never committed a crime in my life never even got a speeding ticket. The other person had a lengthy criminal record, but I was the one who went to jail it’s crazy I don’t understand it

Yes, it happens a lot. Someone calls the police, says they've been assaulted. Police issue a warrant, but don't do anything to arrest the person. They get pulled over for speeding months/years later and find out there's a warrant for assault. It's ridiculous.

It usually makes it more likely that the case will be dismissed. Every case is different, but it usually is better for the defendant. Make sure you’re not doing anything to persuade or ask the victim not to cooperate because that could be tampering with a witness.
