Dan Campbell is from the Bill Parcells coaching tree and he is showing that now - all the way - when they asked about what he thought about all the injuries - he said - what does it matter what I think ? it just is - I don't give attention to how many injuries - you don't want them -to but it just is . Ironically enough - all the years that the lions were an embarrassment - Parcells used to say that the lions would be one of the best jobs in the NFL for the right guy . He always said - you have an owner that will let you do your job - great fans - it was one of the best jobs in the NFL - MCDC proved him right.

Every time someone mentions Ben Johnson going to the Bears, I think of the players and how they act. Do people really think Ben wants to go from a team where receivers blocking makes it all work and they love blocking. To a team where the receivers think they're too good to and pout when blocking?

Ben's success has lots to do with our new organization. He knows if he leaves he won't have the caliber or mentality of the players here. Not to mention job security, two losing season as head coach, he'd be lucky to get another coordinator job. Definately won't get the money he makes in the D. He not going anywhere. 😅😅

The ending of this game was pretty horrible. As a long time Lions fan and my family watching the game, we were all in awe at what happened. We were stunned but not because we lost but because of how we won. That was a Lions type of buffoonery play. For over 50 years of that stuff you become numb to these kind of endings. If you don't you become angry. That's a lot of anger. Lol. I seen a talk show where the NFL player said getting to the super bowl normally requires luck of some kind. Thursday was one of those. Getting through the injuries is going to be another feat. Great video. Go Lions! 🎉

Dont forget that calling a TO wouldnt have given the Bears an automatic win. They still would have to kick a long FG and make it AND THEN get the coin toss and beat the Lions in OT. Its not like the Bears win was a lock if they played that correctly.

Lions signed LB Kwon Alexander and DL Jonah Williams pretty quick. They knew Rodriguez is out for the season. This tells me they think at least one of their DL Paschal or Onwuzurike might miss more than a couple games. I think they should bring up DL Isaac Ukwu at some point too. He had a good preseason, I thought, and they're running thin. He at least knows the scheme. Didn't realize that Kwon Alexander and Marcus Davenport played together with the Saints. Too bad Davenport is out for the season, that would be a fun reunion.

Aaron Glenn's defense works great with Ben Johnson's offense. Every team wants to establish the run in the first half. Detroit's defense always focuses on taking away the run and do it well. That means the opposition gets a lot of 3rd and longs, which results in 3 and outs, and punts. Because the offense can put up points by the time you are in the second half, the opposition must throw the ball. If you're now one dimensional throwing the ball a mistake means a sack, interception, or incompletions.

Is Gibbs fumble preventable by him? Isn’t the fortunate timing, momentum and accuracy of the shoulder hit to the ball unopposable? Seriously, let me know: is there a posture or ball holding technique available here that gibbs Laxes off on. Really appreciate learning so much about football from you. Been watching a long time. Was at every lions game 1955 through 1960. Watch them win it all when I was 8. Blocked punt by Bruce Maher near the end of the first half. I don’t know why I don’t see it in the highlights. Caddied with his cousin a few years later. He said Maher got hurt in the liver on that play and went downhill to the end of his short career.
