Fun fact: you can cheat and make your character op via Fcs. You just need to change kenshi>saves>choose your save file>platoon>nameless>open with Fcs>scroll down click on character name choose a stat to change. And save it from top save button in fcs

Damn man that was an extremely detailed look at the Martial Arts of Kenshi. I barely know anything about real world stuff apart from what i've seen in kung-fu movies lol. All I know is that I love the look at the Kenshi moves. Awesome video bro, I didn't realise there was a headbutt in the game either haha. Defo need to try levelling up martial arts again. About headbutting; I wouldn't recommend it. Seems great until you accidentally get a tooth stuck in your forehead, and the human mouth isn't the most sanitary place. I've actually heard stories of people dying from skin infections after headbutting someone and getting "bit" by them. As for the palm strike, it is situational. The palm strike is best used for striking hard areas like the face, chin, sternum, or joints, because your palm is naturally padded. You can still hurt yourself if you do it wrong. A poorly performed palm strike can cause damage to the transverse carpal ligament in the wrist.

cool vid. the palm strike, kinda, is use in tai chi and a version, which i will not describre, can be used to kill an opponent... looks different though. no mystical woo woo, pure biology. we were warned to not even test that particular version... so ye, it's completely valid in kenshi

Id say its a small chance but not in many cases a palm strike can kill but its deffo a hard strike, tai chi and kenshi go hand in hand :)

You probably need like 100 martial arts it could also be something you only used against an opponent without a helmet of some kind.

It’s the first move you unlock funnily enough, you need to be extremely close though

the reason u never see it is because one u have to be very close and most of the time the char will activate the bad punch before that and two the move gets disabled after reaching martial arts lvl 6 wich is insane considering just equiping some armored/assassin rags already puts u above that threshold. i remember seing it once or twice when i started playing kenshi years ago but never again after that.
