If you're testing accuracy, shouldn't you check it against medical equipment, not just against each other? Also, why not measure the running stretch distance in Google maps and compare that with what the watches gave?

I thought you would run an already measured track and then compare which watch come closest to it. Different watches gave different results and at the end of the video, we still don't know which watch is the most accurate one! :-\

Exactly. That's what I was thinking he would do but he didn't. Maybe he was afraid of revealing the 'bad brand' or maybe smartwatches are not smart at all and none of them can accurately calculate steps and distances travelled.

I use Fitbit Sense 2, you have to calibrate the individual stride length otherwise It wouldn't show the correct distance. Simply walk a certain distance, in my case I did a distance of 10 km, divided the 10000 meter to my steps counted by the Watch and you get your step length, divide that in 2 and you have your stride length.

Results are skewed as you are not starting and stopping the watches simultaneously as the video shows you stop 1 and then the other seconds later this is NOT simultaneously.
