You're right, people can pay 10 bucks and generate their own images, but these people can write a prompt to make the AI create what is on its mind?. There's the trick where you, as artist can make a difference. Is not just writing a prompt, but knowing how to write it, how to make that prompt works exactly as you want, with the lightning, pose, style, etc you have in mind. That's the difference between paying 10 bucks to create a random image and paying an artist to create an image that can be controlled according to the requirements.

Because to create a true masterpiece in Midjourney, you need to have skills in writing prompts. But even if you use the same prompt as me, you won't be able to create the exact same image because Midjourney generates each image uniquely.
