That's a REALLY tiny scope on that rifle, and it's clever how the pellet probe pushed the pellet further than it could reach, but other than that, quite good....

What your gonna wanna do, is purchase an volumetric scanner and a 3D printer, disable it, volumetric scan all pieces, generate a CAD file of the initial rifle. Modify the resivour and valves such that the resulting rifle is capable of massiveley exceeding a 12ft/lb muzzle energy . Modify the rifle into a new rifle in the way in a new rifle body and there you go converted to over legal limit using the components you bought with minimum machining. Regulator's can be added aswell to cheap rifles by again simply machining a bridge connection between a non specification tank for higher pressures and the original gas inlet port

🤠 Great animation, Thank you 👍 there is a new PCP air rifle technology that does not have a hammer. Is used for the "Western Air" PCP rifles, "LCS", and other brands . It seems to be the future of air rifles. It would be nice if you could reveal to us how it works. Thank you.

The projectile in the video is clearly a diabolo-shaped pellet, but I prefer to use slugs (that are, in fact, bullets) on my PCP.

Why bullet is not slipping forward when we put the bullet inside
@deldridg5 ай бұрын
Good question. As I understand it, the slug is seated against the start of the barrel which is slightly smaller in diameter than the slug. My terminology is probably all over the place, but you get the idea. 😀
@PK-ig2ht5 ай бұрын
@deldridg Yes you are right. The end of pallet (made from lead) is cone shape has a little bit bigger than barrel. So it take a while for pressure to shoot the pallet out

A very basic and good overview. A human with experience would have done much better. AI says " pisseye". It's " pee ess eye ", as in " pounds per square inch ". Nobody puts bullets in an air gun. Pellets or slugs would be proper. AI will make idiots of us all.

Regulator isn't really correct, or properly explained, it's worth watching a video or two of a real one being explained.
@westonbeard36905 күн бұрын
Pretty sure a pressure regulator is correct. I’m not an expert on air guns but the diagram/animation shown is actually a pressure regulator used in things like propane or gas appliances.
@Docv4005 күн бұрын
@@westonbeard3690 You have misunderstood my comment. It shows a Pressure Regulator, which is fitted to many PCP Airguns, but it doesn't show the inner workings. I realise this is just a basic video explanation, but it wouldn't have been too much more work to include the Regulator's internal construction.
@richardpetrovic89416 ай бұрын
Unregulated system, pressure will decreaseing after each shot.
@chm69896 ай бұрын
No, the regulator-valve opens and closes to a set value (2000psi in this case). The decreasing pressure is only present in the storage tank, wich must therefore be filled with more pressure or the regulator won't open.

lmao " it doesn't use air , but the pressure" ummm, then it uses the air, or another gas pressure medium such as CO2 ! othewise it would be a powder actuated weapon or it simply would not work ! the air acts as a non combusting propellant and exerts direct pressure on the pellet which forces it out of the barrel ,since air is formed by pressure lmao! jesus you people don't think this crap through do you? to explain when a fan moves air , a turbine spins creating a pressure differential that causes air to move with the pressure. the day wind moves without pressure...such as an mechanical interference, or convection ( the sun warms one side of the planet , while the other remains cool which creates a pressure difference via expanding gasses and moves the gas we call air!
