I can't believe these aren't getting 10K likes. We should be promoting these videos everywhere!

Thanks for your disbelief at our lack of viewing figures :-) We hope that they do find a wider audience - we're really focussed on just trying to provide great usable content for anyone who wants to enjoy the airbrush, whether it's one of ours or not. Please go ahead and promote them! Many thanks again for your lovely comment.

These videos are fantastic, and a huge part of what made me pull the trigger (pun not intended) on graduating from a cheap Chinese airbrush to a '24 Evolution 2-in-1. The difference is night and day, and I really appreciate all the work you've been doing.

focus on the "wet part" of the airbrush makes a lot of sence...great video as always even for a bit more advanced people

I have become obsessed with learning everything I can learn to become the best I can be with an air brush, this has to be the most valuable information I can absorb.

Is leaving the wet part of the airbrush dipped in water between breaks (couple of hours for example) a good idea? Or is preferable to clean it and dry it as usual as if we are done for the day.
@harderairbrush

You're the guy who fills his coffee mug with water and leaves it in the sink instead of washing it, right? ;-) just kidding - the best way is if you're going to leave the airbrush, clean it. Don't leave paint in the airbrush, whether it's underwater or not. My recommendation if you need to grab a short break, is clean it well (no stripping necessary - just clean it well using the paint's matching cleaner) and then once clean, put a few drops in the airbrush, spray a bit out to make sure it's spraying totally clear (i.e. no colour) and then leave it with a bit of cleaner in there. Then your airbrush will treat you like a king when you return!

@@harderairbrush quite the contrary 🤣🤣. I'm the kind of guy which only recently stop sonic cleaning the airbrush after every session. But good to know that my short break procedure is spot on as per reply.

Ive recently watched a lot of these videos, they have been very informative and im looking forward to getting back to grips with my airbrush. In one video you mention that you shoudlnt use flow improver when sorting the paint for the airbrush however Vallejo make a Airbrush Flow Improver product. Is this different? Many thanks and keep bringing videos out.

Hey glad to hear it's working well for you! My remark on that is directed at people using flow improvers intended for use with brush painting - they are NOT an improvement to the airbrush performance of a paint. However, the Vallejo product IS an airbrush specific flow improver - it actually acts in the opposite way to the paint base than a flow improver intended for brush work.

I'm new to airbrushing, do you use a spray booth or exhaust system when using the airbrush for minature painting

No, but only because we work in a pretty large well ventilated studio. If you don't, I would consider it.

Another great video and the atomisation on my H&S airbrushes is divine. However there is slack in the trigger (especially the two Infinity's that I have) for consistent detail paint up take. Hence some using packing seals to take up the said lag/slack and improve consistency in detail delivery etc. Has H&S any plans to remedy such retrospectively and/or going forward? Has such been applied to the Giraldez model to improve paint uptake/delivery?🤔🤔✌️💜

Glad you're enjoying your atomisation! If you want to increase spring tension (i.e. addition of seals to the front of the needle guide) you can use the spring tension adjuster present on the Infinity to do so ;-)... it's the adjuster that you can see in the window of the end-piece in front of the needle chuck. Personally, I find it difficult to describe the Infinity trigger as being a problem that needs a remedy. There's too much great work done by awesome artists with this airbrush to make that case! However, we love to get closer to our users, and we love to get better, and so we have done a lot of work with our artist community to understand what experienced users REALLY want from the very front of a trigger response, and we applied the appropriate parts of that to the Giraldez Infinity. You can read about it on the Giraldez Infinity info page. Whilst we haven't described every aspect of the engineering, we have disclosed some, and we're confident that the results speak for themselves. The response to the character of the Giraldez trigger action has been great, and so yes, we will make it available for the existing Infinity airbrush. It's actually being prototyped at the moment :-)

I clicked on it it’s in German and Google won’t translate. There is at least 3-4 mm slack before paint comes out once trigger is pulled.
