Goku: "Shenron, can you bring him back? It's about someone very important whom we might have already known for so long. A very good friend.". Shenron: "I see. However, that is beyond my power.". Goku: "What?! Why?! He has already gone just once, not twice.". Shenron: "Because, Goku, he still lives. He still lives with us. He still lives among all of us. He still lives in every person who loves him and whom he loves.". A friend: "What is it, Goku? Is something wrong?". Goku: "It's nothing. Thank you for being here.". A friend: "Anytime, my friend. It has always been an honour to live and work alongside you.". Shenron: "Is there anything else that you want to wish for?". Goku: "Nothing, except that I wish that I could never forget about everything that he had already done for us and for everyone in this world.". Shenron: "Very well. It is my wish as well.". Goku: "Yes, Shenron. It is also our wish. Everyone's wish. Please grant them that kind of wish. To everyone who loves him, whom he loves, who needs him, whom he needs, who never wants to forget about everything that he has done for them and us all, and whom he never wants to forget for everything that they have done for him.". Shenron: "Very well, my friend. This wish is granted. To everyone. For everyone.". Goku: "Hey, buddy. Do you still want to go?". A friend: "I am not going anywhere, Goku. I will always be with you and with everyone else who needs me, everywhere, every time, no matter what. Thank you, Goku, for being my greatest friend.". Goku: "Thank you, my fellow greatest friend. I will never go anywhere away from you as well. I will never forget you for everything that you have already done for me and everyone in this world.". Shenron: "Now is the time. I have to go. The dragon balls must go to every point in this world until the day when they can be used again for greater goods. Farewell, Goku, and you too, our greatest friend. We will never forget everything that you have already done for us. May we meet again in a better place.". Goku and his friend: "Thank you, Shenron! Good Bye!". R.I.P., Akira Toriyama. (1955-2024). May your soul fly to new heights.

Hi I'm from Venezuela I'm 17 and I don't really remember how I found out about Dragon Ball it's just been in my life for as long as I can remember however if I can't recall how I know of the series I still remember the days in which GT was the last official content we got and how people were making versus against Naruto or jokes about ssj4 looking ridiculous I still remember the AMVs and videos of all of his transformation from 1 to 100 I remember coming home and playing Budokai Tenkaichi 3 in my ps2 playing the shin budokai games listening to raps made about the franchise and getting my own bootleg toy about ssj5 goku I still remember watching battle of gods for the first time and being so happy that the franchise I thought I'd never get to see alive just because I was born too late come back in such a glorious way to this day I still remember Ressurection F being teased and people thinking that the villain was going to be Goku recovering his memories and being Evil (Funny how that ended up a few arcs later) I also remember the really bad adaptation of those two arcs into Super and how happy I was of just having it and ignoring the hate it recieved I remember the insane theories like Bardock being in the stairs of the U6 tournament Goku black being Goten the angels being evil and El hermano the day the last episode of super aired I remember crying like a baby knowing that it wasn't over forever but just crying out of happiness and the page I used to watch it going down for hours I thought I'd never cry like that with dragon ball but ever since I read the news this morning I've been crying even harder, Toriyama was just such an important person in my life whether I was aware of it or not to this day I think of him as a teacher or like some kind of father not only to me but to everyone that enjoyed any of his works I can't say I can imagine a world without him because ever since being born everything I knew was changed by his work his way of doing and viewing things and I'm happy about that I'd never have it any other way Rest In Piece Akira Toriyama your work will always prove to be something truly exceptional

He may be dead, yes, but his inspirations continue with us, we as fans who learned to be strong despite the circumstances, He taught us that to win you have to go beyond to win He taught us that living an honest life is a good life. He taught us that there will only be a limit unless you believe there is a limit, but you will never know unless you go beyond those limits. He taught us to live life to the fullest, with families, friends, siblings, the people around you. If he inspired us all with all this, then I won't give up......and I don't want you to give up and if you don't give up, I don't want others to give up either, because that's what he taught us. Point is Dragon Ball has been apart of most of my life. I watched Dragon Ball years later in 2015 I binged all of it from OG Dragon Ball to the end of Z and then followed up with Super weekly episodes. I watched both DBS Broly and Super Hero in theathers. I bought the first Manga Box set in December of 2020 and the second box set in summer 2022.I made friends through Dragon Ball I made memories through Dragon Ball I am who I am thanks to Dragon Ball. Well here's my story As a kid I hated Anime and thought that they were stupid ( besides Pokemon)although I didn't know the reason why people loved them then a few years back when I was in grade 8th curiosity got the better of me and I decided to watch these animes just to see what people loved about them and I started with what is perhaps the oldest anime of all time dragon ball I watched the first arc of the 1st series and maybe it was the characters martial arts or uhhh.... fan service that immediately had me glued to my screen so I finished rest of dragon ball then went online to learn more about dragon ball to find out it has 3 more series and found that people seemed to think DBZ was the best so I watched and immediately fell in love with the series and Gohan later that year since lockdown would be opening I'd have to start school again I was understandably nervous and dragon ball helped me get through that experience in fact most of my friends I made was cause they also loved anime whenever I felt bored or sad I watched dragon ball it made me grow my love for anime i now watch a lot of anime so I'd like to say thank you for your work toriyama sensei may you rest in peace

My earliest memories of Dragon Ball came from an old DVD containing the 5 first episodes of Z, with the old French dub. I even rewatched that first episode from that DVD today, for old time’s sake. I don’t even remember if I liked it. I do remember that one time, however, when my mom came into the room, thinking I was crying. I wasn’t. It’s just that this dub had left the Japanese screams inside and we all know how much Raditz liked to make his little bro scream.😅It took until 2019, during my first year in university, for me to give the series a proper try via the Kai blu rays. And I remember watching the show, basically dancing to the opening. And it impacted me more than I could have anticipated. It led me to watch more Dragon Ball content on the internet, not just from the franchise itself, leading to me eventually making some of my own, and it led to other creators noticing me, reaching to me and now, I have new friends and even more creativity than before. Also, watching and enjoying Dragon Ball led me to watch more anime despite not being too interested in it beforehand, aside of a few from my childhood. And it feels so far away now. I am now a big anime fan and, like many things, I owe it to Mr Toriyama. Thank you, sir. For everything. And to all of you still sad, remember : He might be physically gone, but his legacy and spirit are anything but. May King Kai watch over him. Thank you again, Akira Toriyama.

I started watching Dragon Ball when I was around 10 years old. I watched Dragon Ball, then Z and finishing up on GT, I loved the series and the ending of GT greatly touched me. During the time when I was watching Dragon Ball Z I started working out and learning martial arts, I wanted to be like Vegeta, a strong prideful warrior, it helped me a lot trough middleschool where I was, well you can say, bullied. Then in 2016/2017 I learnt about Dragon Ball Super and I watched the series as I grew, slowly maturing, I am 17 year old now, still as much of a fan of Vegeta as I was 7 years ago, I still practice martial arts and exercise, I deeply care about my friends and family, Dragon Ball made me who I am today. I like to say that Dragon Ball is my 3rd parent considering how much it impacted me and my priorities. Dragon Ball was also the very first anime that I watched, from then on I grew to love anime, watching amazing stories, having beautiful laughs and even going trough sadness, all those memories, emotions wouldnt be there without Dragon Ball. All in all, I thank you from my the bottom of my heart Akira Toriyama for creating such a masterpiece and may you Rest In Peace.

I was introduced to Dragon Ball since I was kid, watching old VHS tapes of the Ocean Dub that covered bits of the Namek Saga and ever since then I've fallen in love with Dragon Ball. I wanted to learn everything about Dragon Ball and that led to me getting all sorts of items that included toys, games and the movies on DVD. And like many, DBZ BT3 was my childhood game growing up and I was always playing the game either to replay my favorite levels or due a bunch of what if fights in the Versus mode. And the more I grew up, the more I was invested into Dragon Ball and its honestly become one of, if not my favorite anime and manga of all time. Sure, there was others like One Piece or Naruto I liked too, but Dragon Ball was always the one to make me happy no matter what. My favorite movie just so happens to still be Battle of Gods which is what made my love for Dragon Ball grow even more and I've long since followed anything Dragon Ball related. I don't know where I would've been if I had never been introduced to Dragon Ball and I don't ever want that kind of thing to change. Rest In Peace to Akira Toriyama and remember everyone to "Play Well, Eat Well and Sleep Well! For it is the way of the Turtle School!"

Akira Toriyama. I don't think words, alone, could express how much of a profound impact this man has had on my life. I didn't grow up with Z, I actually got in late in the game around the time of Super. I remember seeing Hit for the first time and then being glued to my seat episode after episode EVERY Saturday on Toonami. I went back and revisited Kai, which I caught glimpses of and memorized the intro to back when it aired. I went over to a friend's house, and every time I went there, I practically begged to play the, at the time, newest game, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. I remember when I got FighterZ for the first time. I actually begged my parents to get it within a month of release. I remember being in elementary school, watching COUNTLESS how to draw videos on KZbin and that taught me how to draw. I even made my own OCS based on the created characters I made in Xenoverse. All of this to say, since 2014, Dragon Ball has been a CONSTANT influence on my life. It got me into writing. It got me into fighting games. It got me the deepest into art than any other media in my life. Dragon Ball changed my life, and I'm sure it changed many of yours too. All of this to say: Thank You, Akira Toriyama. RIP, Legend

For me Dragon ball was brought into my life by my cousin. We used to play a game(I don't remember the name) on his PSP. It had all the DB characters and was extremely fun. Due to that I went back home and started watching DB on TV. It was during the buu saga, I didn't understand much but I knew so many of the characters. I remember skipping school just to watch all the recap episodes in the morning. It took me a long time to finish all of Z and og DB. I still remember all the times I spent laughing, crying and excited. I can never forget the impact it has had on me. The sheer amount of motivation Toriyama gave me through Goku is unbelievable. After years I watched Super and still remember the chills I got watching UI Goku. Toriyama inspired me to work hard. To always give my best and to be optimistic. Whether you are at your best or at your worst you can always improve. Toriyama taught us life through DB and for that I will always be indebted to him. I will forever miss you.

I see all these comments about how Toriyama’s works were part of so many people’s childhood. But it wasn’t part of mine. I probably would’ve liked it if I knew about it, but I didn’t. What I do know, is that when I met my sister’s boyfriend, I was introduced to it. I loved it, and I read the manga from pilaf to moro in 2 weeks. With this, I had a really big connection with my sister’s boyfriend, who, now, I’d consider my brother. And since I fell in love with dragon ball, I fell in love with anime as a whole. Akira Toriyama is anime’s father. And I thank him for all the inspiration he gave around the world, and I thank him for all the relationships were built around the world due to dragon ball. Thank you for everything, father of anime: Akira Toriyama

Lol i havent been able to finish your video on this (or anyone elses for that matter). Growing up in Germany, my family got bullied by the locals for being outsiders. I didn't have any friends. But everyday, when I'd come home, my would turn on the TV and let me watch a little boy like me explore the world and learn so much. I watched that boy grow into a man, save the world, find love, start a family. I know I speak for so many others when I say Toriyama helped a lot of lonely kids feel a little less lonely. Thank you Toriyama for giving me my best friend and helping me become a strong and loving man. The best we can do to keep his spirit and memory alive forever is to pay it forward. Be a symbol of strength for the people you love. Don't let life or the world turn you cold. Be kind and be loving. Remember everyone: "Move well! Learn well! Play well, eat well, and rest well! The Kame Style is with you!" RIP Akira Toriyama 🙏❤ We all love you

RIP Akira Toriyama, thank you for everything you’ve done as well as the impact you, dragonball and all your works had on my and all of our lives. I remember watching dragon ball when i was young and falling in love with it, being excited to watch the next episodes as well as being in anticipation of what would happen next. I remember talking about it with friends and pretending to be goku, going super saiyan, fighting and firing kamehamehas. Playing games like raging blast 2 and fighterz, which i still plat fighterz to this day. Dragon ball changed my life and i still enjoy it to this day. Thank you Akira Toriyama for everything, may you rest in peace. My condolences go out to his friends and family.

Toriyama’s(Especially Dragon Ball) work affected my life quite significantly . First was the great experience of watching the anime, reading the manga, playing the video games, buying the figures. The character Son Goku really impacted my life by making me a better person and not comparing myself to others. It became defeating myself to be better. Fitness and martial arts became part of my life because of DB, Goku. Getting me through the tough points of my life because I could become or train to get stronger and improve on myself.

Sending my energy to you up in heaven, hero. 🙌 Rest in peace, as you know, the millions of people you have inspired are saddened by your loss. I first saw Dragon Ball from watching the Tree of Might and Dragon Ball Z: Lord Slug, when I was 6. Somehow, my cousin had the movie. Fell in love with the series. I'll always remember Gohan's whistle as I'll always remember your inspiration sensei. Rest in peace, hero, Akira Toriyama. I'll cry not from your passing anymore, but from the life that you gave to millions upon millions of fans. I can't thank you enough.

I was first intriduced to Dragonball when i was around 5 or 6. My dad, my sister, and I would watch GT reruns and stuff whenever we got the chance, and even now i love Dragonball. I play Heroes, Xenoverse, FighterZ, Breakers, and I've even run a DBZ inspired DnD campaign for some of my friends. I love the franchise as a whole, always have, always will. I know it's a little cringey, but i even made some OCs when i was younger. A Frieza type character i called Arturus, a Majin i called Alaka, and a Saiyan i called Leek. I love all of the franchise, it's amazing. Akira Toriyama is one of the cause of one of the greatest impacts in my lifetime. May the true legend among men rest in peace, and may the stories he made be known forever! This is gonna be super cringe to say, but Toriyama waa the true Dragonball Hero. I man whose stories and worlds inspired so many, me included. A true hero among men for the lives he's changed. Rest in peace and rest well, Akira Toriyama!

An old family friend had DBZ posters up; they were from her son. Death Battle was the first "real" exposure that I had to Dragon Ball in general. It was on and off from there, but then I discovered Team Four Star and MasakoX. And MasakoX, in turn, motivated me to discover other what iffers. What iffers like you. And now look at me. I'm a proud member of your server. I've made friends over the shared interests we all have in regards to the work that Toriyama has fostered. I'm a bonafide fan. And I'm proud of it. Toriyama will never be forgotten, and I would not trade what he has created for the world. Thank you, Smug, for helping to preserve that memory.

I wouldn’t became a fighter or an artist if wasn’t for toriyama and kishimoto so losing one of two pillars really hurts me, as a kid from south america(brazil) dragon ball might be the biggest show we ever received here so, with all the darkness we may find the light as time went on.

First saw Dragonball Z on toonami when I was really small, I had no idea what I was seeing, but I loved it. I went to a cousin's house and saw the Goku and Buuhan action figures he had, we also played Budokai Tenkaichi, my first experience with the games. When I was 6, I got a Gameboy Advance. My first ever video game was Buu's Fury and Dragonball GT: Transformation. When I was 7, I played Budokai 1, 3, and Budokai Tenkaichi 3. I became hooked on Dragonball, I needed more. Fast forward to now, I'm just now realizing how much of an impact everything left on me. I've been enthralled and entertained by Dragonball since first grade. And although I'm turned off by anything that came out after Kai, I still have an appreciation towards Dragonball. Toriyama's craft inspires me to become a manga artist, I want to make him proud.

Toriyama was one of the best icons that I respected so much. I loved his. Comics, videos, video games, everything that inspired Dragon Ball. It was one of my favorite shows ever since I was just a little kid. I don't think I would ever be here today. Be so happy, because Dragon Ball was one thing that touched me so much. Not just me, but others. Around. The Dragon Ball community. I don't think we'll all be here if it weren't for Toriyama's great. Achievements. Again. Rest in peace. The goat. I never be forgotten. Move Well. Learn Well. Sleep Well. Rest Well. To be honest I'm still having trouble trying to process all this but I will say, Toriyama's work, passion, and overall existence has left such an impression on me and this rest of the world that I truly believe he has made his mark permanently in Human History. I don't pray much, but if there's one thing I will hope to God is true, it's that the afterlife is indeed the grand, joyous world he envisioned in his work. I'll like to think he's up there with King Kai smiling down upon all of us, thank you for Toriyama, for everything.

I would see DBZ play on the television when I was super young. When I was 8, my brother bought a copy of Budokai Tenkaichi 3 on the Wii. I would watch him play everytime he booted up the game. Then I asked him about the show and where I can watch it. He then plopped me in front of the computer and played the first episode for me on KZbin. Then when DBZ Kai was announced, my brother and I would wait eagerly for its premiere on NickToons.
