ok, this is the link to goodread: www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/22749697 this book is really filled with information of all kinds. i've seen people complaining it's a dry read because there's a lot of business talk and explanations, but, frankly, i think they are fools. the business talk and explanations make all the different and are precisely what makes this book fascinating. again, if you tell me more about the focus of your research, i might be of further help :)

@@SimonMas Hey Simon! Thank you so much for the reply! :D For my research, I'm looking at past copyright cases from different decades! One example I looked into was Blurred Lines (Robin Thicke and Pharell Williams v. Marvin Gaye) and was able to find the actual court transcript for it! And now I'm looking into Rolling Stones vs The Verve! Your video really helped me understand that it was actually more of Allen Klein doing the dirty work behind the scenes and I wanted to reference this for my coursework to better show how some copyright situations have unraveled in the past Again thank you so much for the help and the reply Simon! :)

@@jonnathando2283 get the book, there's much more than i have covered here. in terms of copyright claims... i think the wildest i know is that from Albano Carrisi vs Michael Jackson. there's a bit on the italian wikipedia, but you should be able to use that as the starting point: it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al_Bano?wprov=sfla1 (if it doesn't give you the exact paragraph straight away, look for "Il Caso Michael Jackson). i have a bit of copyright controversies in my video about led zeppelin's III. i think the case on IV's stairway to heaven is inconsequential, but hats off to roy harper is taken line by line by existing blues artists' works. i don't think anyone ever sued. if i remember other famous cases, i'll share them down here. i'll post you the link to my video on III in another comment :)

i don't know, mate, it depends on what age we're talking about. i feel they did incredible things, at times. they were quite lame at some other point. but one can't be consistently the best for 60 years.
