You are concentrating only on individual defensive mistakes; there were lots of collective mistakes as well. In fast-break situations, the Rockets players were all over the place. Two guys running toward one Clippers guy, after double-teaming, one of the guys not returning back to his position quickly, and so on... What does Ime do if he is not teaching on basic collective defensive organization of the players in various situations?

There is a lot of pressure performing at crunch time. We had a young team. It looked like the Rockets were going to need to be good at one on one defense to close the game with all the one on one offense the Clippers were running. I don't think there was ever a doubt in the Clipper players minds they could take it easy and win in the last quarter. If I were to point the finger at why we lost I would say the coaching staff did not prepare the players with a winning game plan. Plus we had won 2 games in a row already. Rockets are not killers yet. I could be wrong, sometimes I just add stuff here just to add stuff.

It is misleading to concentrate only on the last 1-2 minutes of the game. You should start questioning why the Rockets gave up on a point difference of 13 or so in the last quarter. Jalen made some stupid shot and mindless drive-to-the-rim selections again.

After a triple double, he missed 2 free-throws and he is back to your average center and amen thompson is your franchise guy because he did something good during the bla bla quarter. If it were up you amen thompson would be your new Ben Simmons and Alpi would play for another team. even KD missed 2 free throws in some clucth time. No need to be so harsh on a 21yrs old player on his 3rd year especially after so many rebounds and assists. Teams need to double him which opens space for shooters an cutters. A center whois needed to be doubled can not be an average center. IMO
