Good job brother. Thanks for the update. I subscribed after seeing in the live stream on trucker Todd channel. 😊

It’s good to see you’re doing well. I was beginning to wonder about how Schneider is working out. You will make 1K subscribers with no issue. You just have to start pumping out some content. We understand you’re playing a new game right now but as you get more comfortable you have to play the algorithm. You have a significant opportunity though since there aren’t many Schneider IC’s doing KZbin. I hope you keep finding the money.

I started watching when you put the fly rabbit decal on the Volvo and the great story behind it too. I expect the new decal to look just as good on the new International. Godspeed and continued success on your journeys driver

Really good video. Did the Baltimore bridge collapse affect your routes/loads/routine in a negative way?

No issues with that.

I just found your channel i really enjoyed watching your videos . I like how honest you are in your videos. Im glad you're doing good with your trucking business. Ive thought about coming over to schneider to do the lease program. Do they offer owner operator's any health insurance? Safe travels 🙏!

I have had a lease with SFI before but didn't save up for the residual at the end of the lease. For the last three years, I have been doing local. But, I am going back with another SFI lease at the end of April. This time, I plan on saving for the residual by trying not to spend money on anything except the bare necessities. I keep hearing about the slow downs, but I know I'm not scared. I don't have a wife, kids, or house. This is my last month on spending rent for an apartment. My goal is to buy my truck after the three-year lease. Then I plan on driving another seven years before I buy a sailboat and retire. For advice, search and study all of the available analytics to help know where to run. When a state has more loads than trucks, then you need to be there. On the flip side, if the state has more trucks than loads, stay away. Rates are great in the Midwest and fuel prices are great in the South. Keep an eye on regional trends. DAT is a good resource.

So you live in the truck for 168 hours a week and bring in 1200 bucks net for the week?

If you lease a truck with Schneider, are you able to work 8 months out of the year and return the truck at the end of each 8th month cycle without penalty? Also, how many hrs per week do you have to put in before you make enough to cover all the bills needed to run the truck? I’m already retired and leave the country during the summer and part of spring. Would appreciate your input being that I’m new to the business
@iamtheflyrabbit2 ай бұрын
@@terraGaliciaXXIV SFI would not allow that I’m sure. The only thing that might be possible is a short term lease but I’m not sure. Call Jeff at SFI to see. I just don’t know that answer. I push my 70 every week.

@@RobDavisBigRobFitness I’m not sure I understand your question? If you mean two carriers, that’s between you and the carrier. Usually doesn’t happen.

Is Schneider really paying that good? Doing the math on a SFI lease is about $10K a month with lease, insurance and fuel before turning a profit. I’m thinking about a lease just doing my research on whether leasing or buying a truck would be more beneficial.
@iamtheflyrabbit9 ай бұрын
Your research is correct. You’re not gonna become rich here but you can make a good living here. All fixed costs plus fuel should be around 2500-3000 depending on fuel and miles. My goal each week is at least 4500-5000 a week gross so I can make a decent paycheck. I hope this helps. Btw lease is 100 percent write off as when you buy it’s a percentage.
@SamC9928 ай бұрын
You will get by averaging $2 per mile but to really profit and thrive you need to get to $2.50-$2.75 all miles Any $1.25 a mile lease is pure garbage Do your research be a company driver and pay off all your bills. If you have a wife and young children Don’t do it. If you love trucking do it but not just for the money you will fail. I did 5 years at usxpress team driving and training and blew all my money in the process. I have a few weeks to complete my SFI lease of a brand new 2022 Cascadia which I will get the title. I have the title to my 2022 trailer. But everything went into the truck and trailer these last three years. Good luck Do your research and then do more research talk to drivers at the truck stops and terminals.

How much does Sfi charger to Move the truck ?

It depends on the carrier and if your payments are up to date.
