Can't beat Blue crabs , but the Chesapeake isn't producing blue crabs due to development along the coast and the Septic tanks that drain. From millions of cheap trailer parks and welfare developers. Most of the crab in Maryland is from Louisiana.

In this video he talks about blue crabs and I remember years ago that I would wake up and go crabbing with old brother and we had the nets and a metal bowl and we would go to the fish market for bait and go to the beach and crabs love mud or sand lay the bait and walk and my mother would steam them and we put paper on the table and eat them with butter and fresh lemon but I buy lump crabmeat and 😢eat them or make crabcakes and it's not cheap but if you go to a restaurant very expensive but I like seafood in general but I shop around before I buy anything compare and shop and everything in Hawaii is centered on the ocean for free rather than going to the market as I am a Chef by trade and recently I saw an ad for a seafood Chef and I am going to talk to the owner about the position but in the kitchen you make other things to not just seafood like beef chicken pork etc.Desserts salad soups sauces dressing make places serious money as I have never seen an Ad like this before but there are many places looking for serious talent and they are willing to pay depending on education and experience as I have formal training and years of experience in different cuisines

Chesapeake bay soft-shell blue crabs are the best & tastiest crabs for eating in the world. That is as far as I'm concerned, some may disagree with this. Some folks like other crustaceans or other kinds of seafood better. Remove the crab's lungs/devil & then fry it with a bit of Old Bay seasoning & enjoy a one of a kind tasty meal. 🦀🥪
