Catching billions of salmon sounds like a huge operation! How do those cage traps work exactly? Do they trap the salmon without harming them, or is there a tricky balance between catching and releasing? It must be so busy on those boats!

You are right Tom, most fish that were shown in the traps were cod. But they are also endangered. Salmon looks like big trouts, and at most places in the world the quantity is getting lower every year. We have to understand, that fishing can not only mean taking from the nature. We have to catch sustainable and we can’t take more, than the natural resources can reproduce in a season. If less fish go for sporning the species will die out one day and the Ressource is gone.
