Heck yeah! Great to hear Joey! Every day, work on it for 30 minutes to an hour, and you’ll be amazed at where you are 1 year from now!

The fact that you’re looking into this type of content voluntarily means that you’ll be way WAY ahead of your peers by the time you get your EJ license and light years further when your achieve your EC or masters. Keep the momentum of being inspired rolling. There’s lot of negative worker bees in the trade. Don’t let them hold you back or pull you down. Don’t go drinking after work with the guys. Go home, relax, and work on yourself. 🤙

As a 7 year electrical apprentice (slow down in work prolonged the 10,000 hours of field experience), I began looking into how to break away from the field to build my own electrical company. To this day, I can honestly say I still can’t see that transition from field man/foreman to business owner. It’s quiet frustrating. However, seeing this pod casts makes me excited and the book references are a great push in a direction other than where I’m at. I’ve always thought that becoming a business owner is something that you do, not someone you become. I’m still in the doing phase of doing the field work and haven’t had heavy training in the business side. Glad my wife sent me your channel.

I just got a job as a technician for a big company. And I got hired because I know the manager. I’m getting trained to do the job. One thing for sure is I don’t know how to fix things but I’m hungry to learn electrical work and plumbing . Thank you for the podcast and episode.

All this books are great and help me become the business owner I am today and that without a college degree! I closed my business after 10YRS of running it and I am now about to start a new trade as electrician and I am truly excited. After understanding what Covid did to my old trade I wanted to secure a more reliable trade that’s not a fake value economy or disaster! I’ll keep y’all updated and I love what you guys are doing

Great interview, 1 question though: What made Josh become a Master Electrician but start a mechanical company in the beginning?

Good podcast, but raising your bid limit should be a priority in order to land large commercial jobs. With service jobs you can only go so far
