Life long A’s fan and I always respected Altuve a ton, especially after it came out he didn’t want to take part in cheating. When u see him next to Judge and realize they are both among the best of the best in the league you realize how beautiful our game of baseball really is.

The trash can system was used at home, not on the road. Altuve’s stats were the same at home and on the road in 2017. And as shown, he was not using those bangs. He wanted no part of it. It’s annoying that he was made to apologize for something he did not personally do, and is given so much hate for it. And let’s be real, if he put himself out there as a free agent instead of choosing to stay with the Astros, plenty of teams would have been interested.

You mean you actually buy Altuve's lame and brutal excuses for not wanting his shirt torn off after the walk-off homer against Chapman? He may not have participated during the regular season, but, damn, it's the playoffs. If you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin'.

When ever there is a video spotlighting Altuve, I checkout the comments to see how many misguided folks hang on to the negative narrative. Simply put: Altuve is a 😊humble and kind, inspirational human. One hell of a baseball player, one greatest second basemen in the history of the sport, and if there is any justice in this world, an unquestioned first ballot Hall of Famer!!

@ Yes he is. And it's never been about regular season. Postseason is where you throw out MVPs and Regular Season stats and in 2017 where he didn't cheat (and there's been proof of this btw) He had the greatest postseason in Astros history to lead them to a World Series title and is second all time in Postseason homers behind Manny Ramirez with two world series titles and a span of 7 consecutive ALCS appearances snapped last season. Making the World Series twice. I think if you take all that into consideration he's the best.
