I have had 2 acl reconstruction surgeries (18 and 30 years of age) both due to basketball. The first 2 weeks are the toughest. After that, just make sure like 5 months down the line you don’t over reach. Don’t play football full out just because the knee feels okay, stick to the timetable of recovery

Well not to toot my on horn but about a year ago I completely shattered my right knee (tibia and fibula) and tore every ligament my knee cap was on the side on my leg 😬 so after 3 surgerys I got a sweet scar, 2 plates and 15 screws later I'm walking soon to be jogging!! I had a great support team/Family, all types of injury sucks but the battle is Never fought alone ✊🏽

I had my acl surgery 2 days before Covid shutdowns really took effect. I saw my physiotherapist over zoom once a week for a month. Any pro athlete that says it’s a challenge in rehab doesn’t understand. You legit got the best of the best daily helping you

Facts bro. Pro athletes have all the support necessary to fully recover in record time. They have the best surgeons, see physiotherapists daily and also have equipment such as low gravity treadmills to maximize recovery. They have it easier than amateur or rather athletes aspiring to become professional.

The nfl is ruthless on a athlete. That’s why I am never able to understand how nfl players spend so much of their earnings. They are not guaranteed next season, every game could be your last. It is just like a combat sport.The men that last 13 or 14 seasons deserve massive respect.Just try getting back on your feet after getting hit the way they get hit on a regular basis. It amazes me. I punched a wall in frustration 2 weeks ago and tore a tendon in my hand. I can’t even fart without feeling a horrible shock in my hand. These men are beasts
