But how does the team get from Point A to Point B, and how do they get everything they need to have success on the road? How does acquiring a player from a Canadian team work? I can remember standing outside the Olympia in Detroit after a game. The visiting team's bus was there and I would get all of the autographs. Once, my friend's parents shared a train car ride back to Montreal with Jacques Plante. They said he was great company.

@@qwerty112311 Merry Christmas! In the case of the 2012 lockout, the NHLPA offered to play the season under the existing contract, but the owners said no. It wasn't a case of the union saying they wouldn't play and the owners calling their bluff. The plays wanted to play the season.

Same here. I was curious how logistics went about back in 2020 covid when i saw the Pacific division buses roll into our downtown hotels. I saw the players in the Edmonton City Centre from a distance walking around. 😊
