I asked my wife why she voted for biden in '20. She said she had to offset my trump vote. I asked her why biden was better than trump, she said "cause he's not trump. I said ok but here's why I'm voting for trump, and gave 5 reasons. She thought about it and told me she felt dumb for not having a better reason. This year she's voting for trump. Don't hold your breath. My oldest brother is pushing 60 and runs a machining company. He'll vote Democrat NO MATTER WHAT. Always has, always will. I had a similar experience with my wife that dude here had with the taxi driver. I made a comment about something Trump had said that was funny, and she let out a huff of disgust. I asked her what that was about, and she said Trump is... insert all the negative adjectives here. I asked her why she thought that, and she could only say "because he is." I asked her for an example of what she didn't like, and she couldn't provide one. Definitely made her think... I think she was embarrassed at not knowing why she was so mad at something.

I'm white, my husband is Hispanic, and he knew I was voting Trump in 2016 and was ok with it. 6 months later, he went to visit his parents, and he messaged me that I was a racist for voting for Trump and that he wanted a divorce. The day before Mother's Day 2017 I was served, I then ended up having a miscarriage that night from all the stress. Our daughter was only 3, if I was racist I wouldn't have married him nor would I have intentionally had a mixed baby. He changed his mind for whatever reason a month afterwards, thankfully, and we'll be married 11 years soon. And he's now a Trump supporter.

When I was in my early 20's, my grandfather tried to get me to register to vote as a Republican. I was so furious with him for suggesting that I register as a Republican. I believed what I always heard on TV, that Republicans are racist, hate poor people, and all that. I didn't speak to my grandfather for several years after that. Around 2013, I started paying attention. I started looking into things for myself, and the more I learned, the more I realized I was being lied to by the Democrats and I switched my voter registration to Independent. In 2016, after hearing Trump speak a few times and found myself agreeing with almost everything he said, I switched to Republican so I could vote for him in the Primary. I've voted Republican in every election since, even local elections. My Grandfather passed away a few years ago, and I never got to apologize to him and tell him he was right. RIP Grandpa, I'm sorry.

I'm an Uber driver. Retired and certainly not in it for the money because in the long run it actually cost you money. I'm in it for the social entertainment and believe me passengers don't disappoint I average about 15% in tips and when talking to other drivers they can't believe how good the tips are When I first started driving Uber I was a little green but still quite social and when it came to black folks tipping they were a few and far between. Overtime I developed my craft and now I'm getting tips from black folks maybe just a dollar but it's the thought that counts because certainly I don't really need the money I'm well off I can assure you the increase in Trump support from black folks is amazing. Before 2011 I was a lifelong Democrat, I switched to independent, after Osama broke promises that physically hurt my family. I still voted Dem for local elections until 2014 when the Ferguson riots happened, I realized then, It's not only the Dem politicians that's the problem It's also the voters, they're being manipulated by the politicians and the media... THIS!!! I have been a Trump supporter since he came down the escalator and said he was running. I wore my red MAGA hat proudly and got dirty looks, people with attitudes, and even people trying to physically avoid me in lines. I would walk with my baby daughter and people would stand behind us talking to her. When I turned around and they saw my hat they would stop talking to my sweet baby and roll their eyes at me. Now? I get high 5s. It is crazy but I am grateful no matter how it happens. We are in the biggest dog fight of our lives and people are finally waking up.
