I LOVE these types of videos from you! You always have such good ideas and neat gadgets and little bags and containers. In addition to some of the things you mentioned, I also carry bandaids, list of meds with dosages for my husband and myself, a small tube of hand cream, and chapstick. I love that little bag organizer insert. I have some for larger bags, but I have a small dressier bag similar to yours, so I need to get a little organizer insert like you have. Great video!!

FYI (not that I would ever recommend sneaking stuff past TSA LOL!), a small folding ceramic knife will not show up on the airport Xray. Those purse organizers are great, I got the small for my small cross body purse and the larger one for my EDC tote bag.

We're too alike, I have the same purse organizer, only larger because I can never carry a purse that small. 😂 Btw you can always mix your favorite perfume with some rubbing alcohol to make your own hand sanitizer in a scent that you enjoy. I mix mine with pure vanilla. (I'm a Shalimar fan from way back.)

This was so fascinating. Girl I would have grabbed the mini blade and the light to go check the backyard…lol. I’m a manicurist so I found the tiny nail clipper quite interesting. Oh one more thing, I like that you have pouches in a color that are easy to see. My small black card case can be confused with other small black pouches in my bag…🥴. The matching wallet idea isn’t so great with black in my case.

I don’t think there is anything weird that you carry because I’ve carried or do carry almost the same things! I would be dubious of that powder sunscreen and exactly how much protection it can give you. In a pinch maybe but I wouldn’t be using it as a primary sunscreen. Maybe if you could get one of those UV cameras that show how protected you are after you apply it!

Hello, Eunice from another half Japanese gal (half Norwegian)! I also carry Japanese scissors and sometimes a Japanese stapler. They are about the size of a tall, slim lipstick. I don’t know how you can get the pince nez to stay on. My Asian nose must be smaller or flatter because they just pop right off! 🤣 Thanks for the great videos. Year ago flying intl., had my 1 1/2" metal nail file confiscated that I had carried 22 yrs!!!!! Scared to pack my thin cr c sized multitool w/1" blade now. We even had a precheck confirmation through the FBI?!?! Guess this Grandma was 'packin'!!! Can anyone help w/info on where to find the one use small pkts of antibiotics ? They are so helpful. Also just an FYI...I used your idea of an EMG 1st aide kit complete w/glove, bandsides, antibiotic pkt, 1 day meds & o/t/c items, tweezers, tissues, crm for stings/bites, eyedrops, tiny sewing kit etc. In an eyewear case. It is so very handy when traveling intl or natl. All those little items in one place! Thank you.

I carry a fan, cloth napkin, hand sanitizer and wet wipe antibacterial as well but I need to have water with me at all times. 💧 = life lol plus I have a little one so I need to have water and snacks wherever we go. (We get hangry lol but I have been to a few weddings/events where I did need snacks and water and had to leave early. It’s not because the events were cheap/frugal but it was a different culture) I forgot to add: and yes I will be getting the mini lighter. Thank you for sharing!!!!! There are many times we have needed one. You are amazing!!!! My parents were never prepared and so I like to prepare for my child because I don’t want him to be uncomfortable like the situations my parent got me into 😂 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I don't think any items were odd. Some things seem redundant, (nail files, lighters) but I understand you might just use parts of what you have in different scenerios. I don't think you had any first aid gear in this one (other than pain meds) , maybe I missed it. Band aids or mole skin might be needed for blisters at dress up event with fancy shoes.

So your spoon and fork made me giggle. I keep some plastic cutlery in my car, bag/kit for work and always take some when I travel, but never thought about some in my EDC. I keep alcohol swabs in my in "mom bag" aka Mary Poppins for a variety of uses... stain removal, cleaning a wound, and nausea.

I don't think anyone knows, just one of those handed down tips/lore. You simply inhale isopropyl alcohol while taking slow, deep breaths. My husband used to work in the OR and he said the nurses would open up a swab and lay it on a patients upper lip/under the nose to help combat post-anesthesia nausea. He suggested I try it when I get nausea with migraines. It really does work! I like that the swabs can be multipurpose rather a medication specific to nausea.

No one knows how or where it started but is just one of those old trips/sage advice that has been shared over the years. The actual mechanism is not really known, but along the same lines of aromatherapy. You simply inhale isopropyl alcohol with long, deep breaths. My husband used to work in the OR and he said nurses often opened swab packet and placed the swab on patients upper lip/under their nose to combat post-anesthesia nausea. He suggested I try it when I get migraines and become nauseous. Worked like a charm. Now I always have swabs with me in my bag.

The magnifying glass has helped me thread the needles and the magnetic strip help keep the needles and pins in the lid.😊

I have one of those credit-card sized plastic magnifiers in every handbag and (as they come in massive quantities) everyone got one in their Christmas card, this year. A HUGE hit, for all ages and stages. And I have a tiny, super-strong magnet on my key chain. Someone dropped car keys down a ac vent, recently, and we got them out using the magnet and two laces, tied together. We ended up with about 40 people cheering us on! The stuff of legend 😁

I think because it can be unscrewed and there is lighter fluid in it. Only Bic style lighters are permitted.
