This is great content, i hope he does more of this. Tekken by nature has such vague documentation, if you haven't spent years there is just no way to know so many nuanced knowledge.

I backdash a lot like the fahk. I don't do it to show off, I do it because I panic. I can't retain anything from lab, so if I don't know a situation in matches, my immediate instinct is to backdash away. It gets me in so much trouble as I get higher in ranks, but it's a hard habit to break.
@edwincaraballo24143 жыл бұрын
More knowledge on why to back dash is always nice even if you are an old player or new one. You can really appreciate the mini lesson he did right there.

Gotta backdash 24/7 to assert dominance... "Oh wow, this guy has a really good kbd, he must be a very strong player!" Then the opponent is demoralized and you win. GG WP.
@fartmaster--po4ti3 жыл бұрын
Also you gotta spend the first 15 seconds of the match sizing each others movement up from full screen.
@ashieldoffaith50563 жыл бұрын
its funny, you can tell a low level is what he is when he just learned how to kbd but on one side. its ment to be a tool thats supposed to be used at an immediate response in defense and reaction for whiff punish and pressure.

I hate to admit it but I used to KBD mindlessly until I realized that I always gets cornered to wall very fast at the start of the round...
@blxckdreadful74193 жыл бұрын
This is such a common habit of almost every decent tekken player, leaves me dumbfounded every time. I keep on wondering why they're backdashing when they can't capitalize on it by punishing the whiffs. It's like they're backdashing for the sake of backdashing. Aesthetical movement, serves no purpose at all other than kbd looking damn cool
@RandomGameClips273 жыл бұрын
You can annoy the opponent by playing passive and just running away so he loses his cool and eventually attacks with less thought opening himself up for you to block/whiff punish. But I have to admit that I catch myself with my back close to the wall pretty often
@blxckdreadful74193 жыл бұрын
@@RandomGameClips27 while that's true, then that means you know what you're doing. Your backdashing serves a purpose which is to annoy them and to force them to attack, you capitalize on it if that's the case. However, for the other people...
