Same thing happened to me in radio mirchi coimbatore, they forced me to resign with a bouncer, but I told the bouncer take ur hands off from my shoulders or else ur hands will be chopped off wen u come out of the building,,the hr and guy's got afraid and started to beg, brothers be bold

Easy uh kedikra IT vela adhe madri easy uh kai vittu pogum nu...so 2 years TCS la work panna apram velai resign panni Government Job kaaga prepare panna start panna 1.5 years since uh padchan for 10 hrs a day. Final uh this year RRB exam clear panni Railway Group C , Loco pilot uh select ayitan. Job security, Nala salary, samma respect in society and central govt. employee Tag idhu podhum pa. Na life laye sirandha mudivu IT vela resign pani govt job kaaga padchadhu dhan. Thank God!!!!! now i am 25 and getting 45k in central government railway.

இப்போது இவர் பேசும் இடத்தில் (senior), junior அதாவது இனி மேல் புதியதாக IT industry வேலைக்கு வருபவர் இன்னும் 7 or 8 வருடங்கள் கழித்து மீண்டும் இவரை போன்றே interview கொடுப்பார்.

What he says is true - there is caste based, religion based, language and location based politics in the IT companies as well. I have been a part of such corporates for over seventeen years and I know that for a fact.

What Sangeetha says is true.30 years back they asked me one simple question. How do you draw circle using C language. I wrote clear algarithm and code. Still they failed me😀 Using the same C language I went to USA Chennai emphacy took flight. Like Messi, I Always looked for.goal post and never gave up. If some one fails you, don't give up. Swim like குற்றால ஈஸ்வரன் against monster waves😀 if you don't like if you come across sharks in this part of ocean swim towards different part of ocean. Don't try to fight against shark. Escape... impractical

We all agree that this is hard for the families who get impacted by these layoffs. But we should also understand that this is the nature of the globalization. We should all remember that these jobs once were done by the people onsite and companies moved these jobs to low cost delivery centers like India by laying off people locally. We welcomed it when it favored us. Now the same jobs are replaced by the junior lower cost resources. Tomorrow it might even go to other countries like Vietnam. This is the cycle of globalization and we can’t avoid it. We should all learn to live within our means and plan to have Savings and be prepared to live without jobs at least for 6 months. Also, we should be focusing on our skills and keep up to date. Those days are gone where you join a company and retire there. While it’s acceptable for us to switch jobs for 10-20% salary increase, companies can also switch their employees for more savings. It may sound brutal but it’s the fact and other side of the coin....

These IT guys are one of the main reason for inflation in cities like Bangalore, Chennai etc increasing the rent, day to day routine etc by getting paid exorbitantly.. These guys are focussed on onsites etc. There is nothing wrong in layoffs, govt should rather focus on improving the condition of the essential fields and not on IT

All IT employees across various organizations should approach the Labour Commissioner against such removal of service is unjust and if need be file a civil suit jointly in the appropriate court for redressal

Same IGT company did past in 2017.. They called on Friday morning and give letter ..so automatically resigned happened and not even they allowed to go inside cabin..this is real experience I saw directly when I was in office..

Don’t bring caste and religion into work place.i have been in IT industry for quite sometime. I don’t pick resource based on their caste and religion.Attitude and adaptability is the key.

I know one friend he was Brahmin only he worked for diff companies, they treated him like slave, no on site for him or promotion etc. Always they gave to other people who do political nonsense. he used to work overnight, weekends etc still so please don't tell this as caste problem.

These IT girls and their parents (especially mothers) used to insult non IT boys when we approached them for alliance through arranged marriage system. Saying no is ok, but insulting is a sin. Now, I am so so so glad they are on the streets. Suffer now. Our curses won't go for nothing.

IT is an knowledge industry. Agreed that after 10-15 years most of them are in to project management and people stop doing coding (I'm talking about Tier 1& 2 companies) due operational and people management work. Hope everyone will agree that most of the work are redundant in this..Also we fail to learn new technology as it changes frequently.. How much of us spend for learning ( like when we started our career )? So we have to keep learning and there is nothing to fear. Let's be positive and if not this company we can get somewhere / do freelancing/ consulting / training provided we know what is our strength. This demon is there at any age from managerial grade and let's face it.

எனக்கு தெரிந்து ஒரு TV பேட்டியில் Union தலைவர்களை 15 வருடம் முன்பு கேவலமான பேசினார்கள் ITயில் வேலை செய்பவர்கள். அதற்கான தண்டனை தான் இது படகில் மற்ற இடத்தில் பாதிப்பு ஏற்படும் பொழது வேடிக்கை பார்த்தால் இப்படித்தான் நடக்கும்

This is not happening in IT. In every sector it is happening. Since IT sector has more visibility, it gets highlighted. I worked in a Project Management company. Suddenly I was asked to quit. I did not oblige, I was transferred to a remote place in North India site. As I didn't agree with the transfer, I was not allowed inside the company here. They did not remove me from service and stopped salary as well. As per shop act, if you are removed from service only you can approach Labour welfare department. After 18 months only they removed from service. I approached Labour welfare department. The case lingered for 15 months, at final stage of hearing, they agreed for compensation and paid me. As I have put in 30 years of service, It worked for me. For mid level persons, it will be a dilemma.

When they have to Fire or terminate an employee it has to be done ethically and professionally. the Exit Interview has to be done and an employee should not be disturbed emotionally while sending them out! HR should follow professional protocol!

Instead of blaming the company - best to save money instead spending at early stage - will solve your problem to some extant - in USA many youngesters are spending more due to corporate culture & spending economy targets - youngesters are in the pray e.g. Amazon store etc., online business will simply reduce take home pay and later stage people are under problem

Boss right now allmost all projects follow agile methodology. One can open jira and check what he did so far. I have been there in IT for the past six years. I never disclosed my caste. Whatever you said is not happening in IT. I see many actors and actresses in IT companies. Actors and actresses means they are acting like they are working. Meaning they are not the active participants of the project. In this case what companies will do? Also we should always be open to learn latest frameworks and technologies. The only formula IT companies are following is unless and until an IT company generates revenue, there won't be any problem. Also if we bring caste reservation in IT, then for upper categories, all doors are closed.
