IT job is more or less like Cricket career. When you are working/performing, they will pay huge sum. Employees should know that it is not permanent. Avoid luxurious life. Try to save maximum. Spending in PVR/Inox cinema, eating ice creams late night, with boy/girl friends. Try to lead a better than normal life. There are millions of people struggling for a single meal. Why spend on luxurious mobile phones. Their salary is multifold compared to employees in other sectors. Once used to luxurious life, bit difficult to face such situation. Actually, my daughter drew 3 times of my gratuity payment after 40 years of service, in one month.

The problem is IT Companies is business-model was flawed! they built a business on a wrong premise and exploited the educated human resource which was abundantly available in India. Because of a massive shift in technology most Big companies have to shift from the Services (Man hours based) model to more value-driven!

The point she talks about Reskilling is 99% true. Except for few people who might not be willing to learn / take up responsbilities. but she is spot on w.r.t the time a IT employee spends on work. If there is real loss to the company - then layoff is acceptable. But even when you have profit , layoff is purely unacceptable. If you get profit why should you layoff people.

It industry la job cuts adikadi panuvanga ..but intha murai rombe exploit aaitu then numbers uhh koode avlothaa..almost 90 percentages employees ku perusa ethu problem ila..then we have other it companies as well .like hcl,tcs so and so...aprm rmbe mukiyamana visayam..this is not completely going to affect less experience people...so ipove plan panne arambicha easy ah settle aagalam..don't waste ur money on investing Chennai flats and costly bikes and mobiles ..be innovative and invest your money at earliest

If u r smart.. U would have have saved 50% of ur total career salary as savings.. If u have 10years of total experience, for sure some lump sum will be saved,. They saying reskill that is false, they won't give training for further job, and if we go private center to get reskill training, they diside to move to other team, because after completing reskill training, we search other job. In the office systems only job oriented application available, even they won't allow to search new things.

IT should be giving preferred only IT studied students..now the trend is any graduates can join IT which is spoiling the entire other core fields..removing experience staffs in IT industries is the trend now,becoz IT companies are just assuming wrong that they can get same works from 3 years experience.we must start adopt core subjects instead of going behind money&IT..

வீட்டை வாடகைக்கு விட்டிருந்தவனெல்லாம் இப்போ புலி வால புடிச்ச கதை ஆயிடுச்சி..!!! 1) பாங்க் வட்டியைவிட வாடகை மிக மிக கம்மி. 2) அந்த கம்மி வாடகை தரக்கூட மக்களுக்கு வருவாய் இல்லை. 3) வீட்டு விலை கூட உயரமாட்டேங்குது. உயரலன்னாலும் பரவாயில்லை அதிவேகமா குறைஞ்சிக்கிட்டு வருது..!! 10 வருஷமா உயரல அப்ப எவ்வளவு நட்டம்ன்னு கணக்கு போட்டுக்குங்க..!!! இன்னும் 15 வருடதுக்கு மேலேயும் உயராது..!!! 4) கட்டிடத்தின் தேய்மானம் (Depreciation) 5) வரி கிடுகிடு அதிகரிப்பு. 6) Maintenance செலவு. 7) இன்னும் சொல்லிக்கொண்டே போகலாம்.................

Depreciation என்பது நாம் உபயோகிக்கும் எல்லா வஸ்துக்களுக்கும் உண்டு. இந்தக்காலத்தில் இப்படியும் இருக்கிறார்களா..!!!!!!!

In Indian MNC Caste & Religion returns to Groupism which plays the major role in getting shortlisted for layoff. If your manager is a brahmin he will make sure in all way he will make his Brahmin fellow mates not to go through the final Layoff list. As i am brahmin i myself feel bad for people who are performing but they are not allowed to be the part of the fringe groups that we are in. Last year in a mobile assembling company i was in the final Panel were i personally took the print out the final hit list and gave it to the site HR. While returning to my place i felt guilty of being a part of the layoff process in our company. There were 15 people to be called for layoff, per week one person. In that there was a Christian lady who was in IT department and i saw her name in the list. When she was called for the layoff all of a sudden she fell unconscious in the exit room .Later the housekeeping women sprinkled water on her and she was dropped at her house through company sponsored cab. Also saw on muslim and Schedule Caste employee guy in the list. Also don't be in a same position for more than 3 to 5 yrs then you will be the next target. Also few were hindus in the list whose name was due to managers decision on saving 2 and let go one for layoff. Before 4 to 5 months the Manager, director and the site HR will be aware of the shortlisted peoples. Life is Hard and Keep yourself upskilled to dare to move different companies if layed off. Keep your manager and director informed on your progress daily or on alternate days.

The HR team in every company is not effective. No proper appraisal cycle, no proper recognition from managers and no grade change over the period of time inspite of best performance. Managers force indirectly to resign by degrading the people under him to save his job and not making us to grow in any aspect. Both the company makes the middle level employees to loose their job. She might not be 100% correct, the developer and testers are given more work load from the managers to save their jobs. We are in situation to loose the jobs and our families because of management stress. Remove top management and restructure the pyramid and make the rest of the employees to grow as well.
