IT job is more or less like Cricket career. When you are working/performing, they will pay huge sum. Employees should know that it is not permanent. Avoid luxurious life. Try to save maximum. Spending in PVR/Inox cinema, eating ice creams late night, with boy/girl friends. Try to lead a better than normal life. There are millions of people struggling for a single meal. Why spend on luxurious mobile phones. Their salary is multifold compared to employees in other sectors. Once used to luxurious life, bit difficult to face such situation. Actually, my daughter drew 3 times of my gratuity payment after 40 years of service, in one month.

If there is real loss to the company - then layoff is acceptable. But even when you have profit , layoff is purely unacceptable. If you get profit why should you layoff people.

Coz of It job other field engineers image is getting fade due to low salary .. comparison of salaries.. even some family doesn't willing to give their daughter to marry them like mech or electrical or civil engineers.. alteast now people should know money is just temporary .. life is a circle...

In Indian MNC Caste & Religion returns to Groupism which plays the major role in getting shortlisted for layoff. If your manager is a brahmin he will make sure in all way he will make his Brahmin fellow mates not to go through the final Layoff list. As i am brahmin i myself feel bad for people who are performing but they are not allowed to be the part of the fringe groups that we are in. Last year in a mobile assembling company i was in the final Panel were i personally took the print out the final hit list and gave it to the site HR. While returning to my place i felt guilty of being a part of the layoff process in our company. There were 15 people to be called for layoff, per week one person. In that there was a Christian lady who was in IT department and i saw her name in the list. When she was called for the layoff all of a sudden she fell unconscious in the exit room .Later the housekeeping women sprinkled water on her and she was dropped at her house through company sponsored cab. Also saw on muslim and Schedule Caste employee guy in the list. Also don't be in a same position for more than 3 to 5 yrs then you will be the next target. Also few were hindus in the list whose name was due to managers decision on saving 2 and let go one for layoff. Before 4 to 5 months the Manager, director and the site HR will be aware of the shortlisted peoples. Life is Hard and Keep yourself upskilled to dare to move different companies if layed off. Keep your manager and director informed on your progress daily or on alternate days.

First of all reduce your work effort for working with foreign based companies. Which means like don't work too fast to complete task. Forein companies will never keep you in safe place at all. They will throw just as piece of shit

ஆனால் நண்பா அதை அதிக நாட்கள் சகித்துக் கொண்டு வேலை செய்ய முடியாது ஒரு கட்டத்தில் வெறுத்து விடும்.என்னை பொருத்த வரை மூளைக்கும் மனதுக்கும் உடலுக்கும் ஒர் அளவு தான் வேலை கொடுக்க வேண்டும் அதை தான்டி சென்றால் ஆபத்து தான் ஆனால் இன்றைய சூழல். அப்படி தான் உள்ளது..

The HR team in every company is not effective. No proper appraisal cycle, no proper recognition from managers and no grade change over the period of time inspite of best performance. Managers force indirectly to resign by degrading the people under him to save his job and not making us to grow in any aspect. Both the company makes the middle level employees to loose their job. She might not be 100% correct, the developer and testers are given more work load from the managers to save their jobs. We are in situation to loose the jobs and our families because of management stress. Remove top management and restructure the pyramid and make the rest of the employees to grow as well.
