I have had a Sitka rain jacket that was great for two seasons, eventually it just wouldn't stop water even after washing it. The left arm would just leak so bad I could almost ring water out of my layers after a day in the rain.

Which jacket is it? They had one a whole back that was “gore Tex” but it was reall my just a rubber lined jacket that I wore once and returned because it rubbed through. If it’s a layered type, try washing it and treating it with the product I linked in the description.
