@@yourdaddy9986 Hubris has its' own weaknesses, failing to acknowledge your own failings is one of the dangerous things everyone is capable of. However, failing to acknowledge your own successes is likewise potentially lethal. To put it in perspective, know thyself first. If someone is truly great, and knows they are truly great, but still acknowledges where they are weak and tries to shore up those particular faulty foundations...I have nothing but respect for them. A person who knows he has a tendency to be nasty and mean spirited after a bad day, who doesn't want to, going out of their way to seek privacy when they would be nasty and mean spirited to others...that's respectable. We also have to define terms here, because I know of small gods, and large gods, and monotheistic all-gods. Frankly, in this day and age, humanity aided by technology are practically speaking small gods. Admittedly, it stretches us thing, but we can speak across the world, as opposed to from a valley over, we can translate any language with a 'stone' we carry with us, we carry weapons capable of instantly killing any person we desire...and all I described was a glock and a cellphone there. We can save voices, save images, heat buildings without fire, throw fire over great distances, burn lands for literally days at a time, fly, advance into the heavens to seek out the celestial spheres, and on and on. From back when gods were small? We're stronger then them now. Consider how much times must be changing, that so many things we previously described as magic...are just sort of things we take for granted nowadays. And yes, if you separate a human from his technology completely, he goes back to being a slightly smarter then average monkey who's probably even more ill-suited for the wilds then he would be if he'd never been introduced to it. But we didn't unlock this 'magic' by praying to a god. We unlocked this magic by banging rocks together, discovering they made pretty sparks, then trying to figure out what those sparks did, or perhaps just making more to show off to our tribe. And when we found out the sparks could set leaves ablaze, we giggled at the warmth....reached a bit too close, and learned how dangerous that blaze was, possibly hurting ourselves, but also learning that it was a resource and a weapon. And then it advanced onwards...and onwards.....eventually we realized what seeds were, eventually we realized how to do agriculture. And then humanity started gathering together closer, and more tightly knit, and we started making rules, and passing information back and forth, making specialists...and on and on. And all through the ages we've learned more and more, millimeter by millimeter, as we advance further and further towards perfection.

The Bible says in John 3:16-36 that whoever believes in the Lord Jesus Christ shall not perish but have everlasting life, the Bible also says in Romans 10:9 that those who declare with their mouth that Jesus Christ is their God, Lord, and Savior they shall be saved. Revelation 1:8 says that Jesus is the alpha and the omega. Luke and revelation is the ending times, and Jesus is returning back. So are you going to submit your life to him or no? Narrow is the path that leads to the gates of heaven, but only few people find it. The gates that is the path to destruction is where many people find it! Jesus loves you SO MUCH! That he died on the cross, and was resurrected from the dead 3 days later to give us eternal life…..

Book of Genesis is FACT. Please find below scientific/cosmological/archaeological/historical proof & explanation behind the Book of Genesis - These are some of the best videos out there. Kindly share with any other apologists as well. The actual scientific explanation for the 7 days of creation is something like this; The universe is 7 days old at the point of creation( looking forward) and 13.8 billion years old (looking backwards at the point of creation). This is called space time dilation - the further you get from the point of creation - the older the age of the universe. Cross section of the universe is as per NASA WMAP diagram. map.gsfc.nasa.gov/media/060915/060915_CMB_Timeline600.jpg Gerald Schroeder PhD and Hugh Ross - Phd Astrophysicists have explained this further. a)Gerald Schroeder has even given the rough mathematical formula for the age of the universe. (and also the each day = x billion years long) (+/- factor of 10 error) geraldschroeder.com/wordpress/?page_id=53 kzbin.info/www/bejne/fZvXeaSundyBnc0 kzbin.info/www/bejne/lYPYeol5opyjhMU (diff between HughRoss & GeraldS is minimal. The differences - GS used Olam(modern Hebrew) vs yom ) b) Hugh Ross gives very detailed explanations on the frames of reference God is talking from i) Gen 1.1 - at the point of creation(1st day/2nd day/3rd day), ii) Gen 1.2 from the surface of the earth iii) Gen 1.3 - Let there be light - the atmosphere become transparent iv) Age of man decreased from 1000 years to 120 years - Hugh Ross explains in his video how the explosion of the supernova about 100k years ago ( monoserotis ??) and that the cosmic radiation from this caused genetic degradation. this is why the age of the patriarchs decreased from 1000 years (adam to noah/shem) to 120ish around abraham. This radiation was x light years away and would have hit earth around the time of noah. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJ2qh6SLj9RradU - the 2 great lights (sun and moon) kzbin.info/www/bejne/iaixqqOEqJWfjZY - testing genesis with science God created the universe in the divine Hebrew language. It was regional flood & not global flood. The sea level rose about a min of 50+ feet and low lying places settlements like sundaland(asia), black sea, Mediterranean basin were swallowed up by the sea. Africa was minimally affected. Thats why you find wooly mammoths remains from Americas to Siberia frozen in ice and mud with partially digested food in its stomach. American megafauna was wiped out (camelops, lions, cheetahs) Mammoth bones in Mexico - buried under 30feet of mud www.geologyin.com/2019/12/over-800-mammoth-bones-discovered-in.html Thats why Africa has wider genetic diversity than rest of the world. I can do the same with Quran: Big Bang? The Qur'an says that "the heavens and the earth were joined together as one unit, before We clove them asunder" (21:30). Following this big explosion, Allah "turned to the sky, and it had been (as) smoke. He said to it and to the earth: 'Come together, willingly or unwillingly.' They said: 'We come (together) in willing obedience'" (41:11). Thus the elements and what was to become the planets and stars began to cool, come together, and form into shape, following the natural laws that Allah established in the universe. The Qur'an further states that Allah created the sun, the moon, and the planets, each with their own individual courses or orbits. "It is He Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon; all (the celestial bodies) swim along, each in its rounded course" (21:33). Expansion of Universe "The heavens, We have built them with power. And verily, We are expanding it" (51:47). There has been some historical debate among Muslim scholars about the precise meaning of this verse, since knowledge of the universe's expansion was only recently discovered. Six Days? The Qur'an states that "Allah created the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in six days" (7:54). While on the surface this might seem similar to the account related in the Bible, there are some important distinctions. The verses that mention "six days" use the Arabic word "youm" (day). This word appears several other times in the Qur'an, each denoting a different measurement of time. In one case, the measure of a day is equated with 50,000 years (70:4), whereas another verse states that "a day in the sight of your Lord is like 1,000 years of your reckoning" (22:47). The word "youm" is thus understood, within the Qur'an, to be a long period of time -- an era or eon. Therefore, Muslims interpret the description of a "six day" creation as six distinct periods or eons. The length of these periods is not precisely defined, nor are the specific developments that took place during each period. After completing the Creation, the Qur'an describes that Allah "settled Himself upon the Throne" (57:4) to oversee His work. A distinct point is made to counter the Biblical idea of a day of rest: "We created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six days, nor did any sense of weariness touch Us" (50:38). Allah is never "done" with His work, because the process of creation is ongoing. Each new child who is born, every seed that sprouts into a sapling, every new species that appears on earth, is part of the ongoing process of Allah's creation. "He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then established Himself on the Throne. He knows what enters within the heart of the earth, and what comes forth out of it, what comes down from heaven, and what mounts up to it. And He is with you wherever you may be. And Allah sees well all that you do" (57:4). The Qur'anic account of creation is in line with modern scientific thought about the development of the universe and life on earth. Muslims acknowledge that life developed over a long period of time, but see Allah's power behind it all. Descriptions of creation in the Qur'an are set in context to remind the readers of Allah's majesty and wisdom. "What is the matter with you, that you are not conscious of Allah's majesty, seeing that it is He Who has created you in diverse stages? See you not how Allah has created the seven heavens one above another, and made the moon a light in their midst, and made the sun as a (glorious) lamp? And Allah has produced you from the earth, growing (gradually)" (71:13-17). Life Came From Water The Qur'an describes that Allah "made from water every living thing" (21:30). Another verse describes how "Allah has created every animal from water. Of them are some that creep on their bellies, some that walk on two legs, and some that walk on four. Allah creates what He wills, for truly Allah has power over all things" (24:45). These verses support the scientific theory that life began in the Earth's oceans. Creation of Adam & Eve While Islam recognizes the general idea of the development of life in stages, over a period of time, human beings are considered as a special act of creation. Islam teaches that human beings are a unique life form that was created by Allah in a special way, with unique gifts and abilities unlike any other: a soul and conscience, knowledge, and free will. In short, Muslims do not believe that human beings randomly evolved from apes. The life of human beings began with the creation of two people, a male and a female named Adam and Hawwa (Eve). The Qur'an describes how Allah created Adam: "We created man from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape..." (15:26). And, "He began the creation of man from clay, and made his progeny from a quintessence of fluid" (32:7-8). Thus, human beings have a fundamental attachment to the earth. While the creation of Eve is not described in detail, the Qur'an does make it clear that a "mate" was created with Adam, from the same nature and soul. "It is He Who created you from a single person, and made his mate of like nature, in order that he might dwell with her in love" (7:189). She is not mentioned by name in the Qur'an, but in Islamic tradition she is known as "Hawwa" (Eve). From these two individuals, generations of human beings have inhabited the earth. "Oh humankind! We created you from a single pair of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, so that you may know each other (not that ye may despise each other). Verily the most honored

AllSeeingEye ofGod “random chance” ...oh boy here we go again and again. Even when the chance is 1:9999999999999999999999999999, it will happen because the chance exists. For example, if I blindly throw a ball somewhete on surface, the “chance” of the ball landing on concrete spot is mathematically 1:infinity, because every centimeter of the field can be divide into something smaller like milimeters, and you can divide milimeters into micrometers, and so on - there’s INFINETE number of options where the ball could land on. Then physics step in, and it depends on the given cinditions where’s the ball going to land - it depends where did I throw the ball; on the power; on the aerodynamics of the ball; on the gravity; etc, and all these factors determine where the ball lands - yes, on the infinetly small surface, which using your logic, the ball shouldn’t land anywhere because the “chance” is too small.

AllSeeingEye ofGod You said something about holes in evolution. Im not going to watch/read these links because it would be basically impractical when Im at my phone, so I just guess which holes in evolution you mean, and I explain why theyre wrong. “How did animals evolve wings? An animal with half wings would die.” - there is many examples of half birds half walking animals, like flying sqquirel, which are still alive. “Another evolution holes are irreplaceable organs like heart, lungs, eyes etc.” - animals evolved these organs at very beginning (first cells). For example eyes could have evolved from so called “eyespot” which is made up of patches of photoreceptor proteins that were sensitive to light. This is the most basic eye it can be. It can only catch light and darkness, but its still impresive. “Scientists say our ancestors are fishes that evolved into amohibians. But fishes would need to evolve lungs which they wouldnt need in water” - Fishes needed to adapt breathing oxygen gas when there wasnt enough oxygen in the water. That would explain why fishes at my aquarium start breathing outside the water when theyre about to die - because their body is lacking more oxygen through their life time, untill the oxygen at the water isnt enough for them, so they get oxygen from the air. But its just my hypothesy.

Well, it’s widely accepted that biblical storys actually originate from older legends and myths (ancient memories of mankind), and the story of Noah’s ark is simply a story of a flood that happend long ago, and through out the thousands of year the story changed, people added stuff to it. 11600 years ago when the ice age ended, it did so in a catastrophic manner, the climate of the earth changed( for what reason is unknown) and the average temperature became much warmer. So when you had ice-caps in North America and in North Europe, and this ice starts to melt rapidly, it raised global sea levels 80-100 meters. A lot of land was submerged by this. Now, where are the most habitable places on earth, where are the biggest city’s today? Most of them are by water, on coastslines, on the mouths of rivers and so forth. When sea levels rise all of that will be submerged, swept under the sea by floods. What will the survivors tell of such event? Great storys of floods maybe. And what happens to that story over 11000 years? It gets edited by every pereon who tells the story. Its like the telephone game, you know the one where people arenin a line, one person tells something to the next and so on and by the end of the line the story or whatever is completely different. Think of that line extended over 11000 years. What will happen to that story, how much of it stays true?

Because here's the thing: genealogy, paleontology, biology, cosmology etc, those are sciences with extensive methodologies creationists simply do not understand, so they can easily dismiss them. This however, this deals in *history*. Something creationists claim to really care about and what they base seemingly everything on. And history is something an idiot can understand, because you don't need to understand an extensive methodology to understand what happened when. I don't know how many people AiG thought there were in the whole world by 2188 BCE, but they said there were only 10 people in Egypt at that time, Noah's grandson and his inbred brood. AiG said every generation of these incestuous kids would have an average of eight kids of their own who survived to have another eight kids, and that this would Egypt's population to 30,000 in just 150 years. So I divided every generation by two and multiplied that number by eight to get the next generation. But if Mizraim is just one of Noah's grandsons, and each of his sons did the same, then the global population would still be over 8 billion by Hammurabi's time--whether because the rest of the world had a head start or because they would have grown twice as fast as what AiG said for Egypt alone.

Seriously, God kills everybody except one family and then a handful of generations later there are dozens of separate civilizations all with their own distinct cultures, religions and histories. And all of who are fighting against the decedents of Noah over land and resources. How the hell did all these other cultures pop up over night?

The flood was probably a flood in a river valley in ancient times, passed down orally and exaggerated over generations. After all, to primitive humans back then, their little river valley would've been "the whole world" as far as they were concerned. Probably no worse than the floods we see on a regular basis today. But noone back then had any concept of how big the planet was.

Ink Black Well, it’s widely accepted that biblical storys actually originate from older legends and myths (ancient memories of mankind), and the story of Noah’s ark is simply a story of a flood that happend long ago, and through out the thousands of year the story changed, people added stuff to it.

Even as a child when learning the catechism in preparation for First Communion, I instinctively knew that I was being handed a line of bullshit. To me, they were telling me about things that only happen in movies. The told us of a "god" that knew and saw all, yet this god walked the earth speaking to people exhorting its followers to destroy it enemies. The old testament god was strangely similar to the god in the movie "Zardoz." In the movie, Zardoz was created by a superior man as a joke upon the ignorant. Instead of Zardoz being good, he was created as a god of death. Sean Connery played the role of one of the barbarian killers. His notable line was when he said that he was at one with Zardoz, his god, when he was murdering. someone. Zardoz even supplied his followers with guns to fulfill their compact with god. Sounds like some fascist right wing drivel we hear today. The point -- religion can convince people to believe in the most prepostrous by throwing out all logical though

One would expect that Noah would be the patriarch and king of a civilization right at the base of where his ark landed, and that civilization would naturally spread out from that location over successive generations. I'd expect us to find artifacts, relics, ruins, etc. fanning out as his subjects (progeny) spread through that post-apocalyptic world. Those migrants should be followed (or more likely preceded) by a noticeable animal migration with a very distinct pattern. We should see literally all life on this planet fanning out from a single spot. Yet somehow, we don't see that. Weird. Must have been, uh... Satan? Or something?

It is not what the Noachian flood explains but what it doesn’t that creates the problem. A couple of problems with it How salty was the rain that caused the flood? We know today that ground water in sedimentary rocks can have fresh water lenses above and below salt water and vice versa. If the sediments were laid down in a single flood the water chemistry would be relatively uniform. It isn’t. Today there are mixed diverse forests angiosperms and gymnosperms (flowering plants and conifers). Yet in coal seams there is no evidence of flowering plants only conifers. There is no pollen, leaf bark or woody stems. No grasses or evidence of grass either. How do explain this? Particularly given that hardwoods (flowering plants) can last for decades after the conifers have rotted. How do you explain this?

Why was Noah (Saturn) angry at Ham (Jupiter)????? The Sabbath/Shabbat begins at sundown (make it 1800 hours) on Friday aka VENUS DAY. Sabbath/Shabbat is two words of Sab/Shab (SATURN) and Bath/Bat (DAUGHTER). BathSheba = Bath (daughter) and Sheba (seven). Bathsheba is the beautiful VENUS. Venus, Saturn's daughter, was born of the foam of his severed testicles, which his son Jupiter cut off and threw into the sea. This story is told of Aphrodite Urania, who represents chaste love in Plato, Symposium 180D-181. Medieval mythographers, including Isidore (Etym VIII.xi.77), say that Venus's father is the mutilated god Saturn, instead of Uranus. One version of the myth says that as Venus emerged from the sea, she landed at Paphos in Cyprus; another version says that she first landed at Cythera off the Laconian coast. Both islands claimed her as their goddess. She is also called Venus Anadyomene (Venus rising from the sea). Both Venus, Jove's daughter, and Venus, Saturn's daughter, represent multiple connotations, including the vita voluptuosaor the voluptuous life, in Chaucer's poetry. The dove and the sparrow are her birds, Friday her day, and copper her metal.

2:01 "If Answers in Genesis is correct, which has never happened before..." Actually, I believe there is one thing they are correct about. According to AiG, if evolution is correct, it means the biblical creation story is wrong and so there is no original sin and thus no need for the redemption by Jesus. Thus, the whole of Christianity is weakened if not completely shattered if evolutionary theory is correct. Of course, they then go on to conclude that therefore evolution is wrong, but I think their reasoning leading up to it was sound. Somehow many Christians can accept that evolution is real without it destroying their faith, but I'm not sure how they reconcile that. I suspect compartmentalization.

watcherFox Look up a thing called "full preterism." Basically Jesus came for the Jews and then returned in 70ad after the destruction of the temple, the apocalypse. We are now living in what the Bible calls "the age to come" and are no longer under Biblical covenants. Don't go sayin that in church though.😉
@manley0702

Meh. Original sin doesn't have much to do with why Jesus came. Sin is why Jesus came whether its "original sin" or not so evolutionary theory wouldn't do much at all to hurt Christianity.

watcherFox that is not true at all. religious people can believe in evolution, and many do. they believe that god made all animals and that we slowly became what we are now as a result of evolution. they do not discount evolution, but they say that the look at genisis in a metaphoric way. they dont think it should be seen literally, but should be studied and it is a story with a message to be used in life.
@wilhelmu
@wilhelmu 6 жыл бұрын
they say that story of evoultion is told methaphorically in genesis, the 7 day creation from simpler life forms to more advanced lifer forms is a metaphor for geological ages of earth and evolution. For example, "separating the light from darkness" can be seen as metaphor for separating matter and energy, during the big bang. the story of humanity's eating the fruit of tree of knowledge and becoming intelligent, yet no longer recognized as one of their own by other animals, and expelled from garden of eden, is a methaphor for how humans evolved to be intelligent, left the wilds, started irrigating the land, building cities and becoming unlike the wild animals they were once equal to. Like god said to adam when he expelled him "now you will have to plough the earth with your own strength" "and now you will suffer and despair" or something among these lines. After all, animals don't experience despair and depression the same way as humans do, they don't commit suicide, they don't have intelligence, only instincts and are always happy. That's their "garden of eden", bliss devoid of knowledge. Sumerian myths had a similar story about how humans became civilised and left the animal world.

In a debate with a Christian as we speak. He claims to believe in the one and only true god, the rest are false gods. So I asked him to judge his god using the same criteria he judges the others false. His reply? All the other gods are really his god, people just worship differently. He also went on to claim that ALL holy books are taken from the Bible. Even the ones that were around long before the Bible. LOL

Stéphane Smith nobody has proven that God is false though so technically you can’t say they are lying, that’s your opinion. “Making people stupid” as you called it isn’t a crime, Christians do not believe in the million of billions so it not sure where you got that from. Christianity is all about family and is basically one of those most important things about it, and abstinence is a good thing. And they don’t commit tax fraud so I’m not sure what you’re talking bout. Maybe next time have a little more respect for us, you’re allowed to disagree with us and our ideologies but swearing and screaming that we should all go to jail because our personal beliefs is not very humane. I remember that these series of videos were made around the first half of 2017. AronRa at first disproves Noah's Flood with topics based on science, but I was already thinking about how this global flood idea also goes against history and archeology. I already thought of this and feel upset because I did not hear nor learn about Noah's Flood in my class on ancient history I once had, which is one of the biggest things that this creationist idea goes against what I learned in school. Anyway, even though I have seen this video as soon as it was uploaded, I have not commented nor favorited this until now (as of September 2021).

Excellent video. Maybe you've discussed this in your other videos: Medically and biologically, how would doctors and biologists describe the results of all those animals on Noah's Ark relieving themselves - going #1 and #2 - on the Ark every day for 40 days? Noah and his family would have to shovel and throw overboard all the piles of #2 while it's pouring rain. But the #1 liquid couldn't be controlled and therefore would be draining down to the lowest part of the Ark. Noah didn't construct the Ark's floors with tongue and groove wood planks, so the #1 liquid had to have leaked onto the bodies of the animals that were in the rooms below. After about 5 or 6 days I'd think that the entire Ark would be covered with flies and other insects that CONSUME #1 and #2. If all those animals released their #1 liquid daily for 40 days, and if all that liquid accumulated at the bottom of the Ark, what, in terms of gallons, would the total amount of #1 liquid be after 40 days? Do you think that a doctor would think that Noah's family - or any person - could exist in the presence of all that #1 and #2 and all those flies and bugs for 40 days WITHOUT getting a DISEASE? What would the total quantity be of all the #2 stuff be after 40 days? What would total quantity be of all the #1 liquid be after 40 days? Yuck.
