Island and Archipelago is formed due to various physiographical activity viz. 1. Eruption of volcano in water bodies. 2. Dipression cause due to sliding of glacier. Group of islands is called Archipelago. Finland coast is the example of largest archipelago of the world. In India Andaman & Nicobar of Bay of Bengal and Lakshdweep of Arabian Sea is the example of Archipelago.
