The problem, Michel, is that the level of corruption in Lebanon is beyond any scale. That includes your party. Hence, someone had to step in to maintain some stability. All Lebanese today including Christians are Shias. Nobody will accept an occupier over their fellow citizens regardless of whether you agree or disagree with them. Lebanon gave up her "sovereignty" when she let Hezbollah operate from her territory. These protestations are weak sauce. Since Israel wants Lebanon to give up its sovereignty, Lebanon should counter with a proposal to become federated with Israel. Lebanese political parties would have seats in the Knesset and have full democratic rights throughout "greater Israel." Add Gaza and the West Bank to this new federated state, and you will have a one-state solution to the Middle East crisis.

Lebanon is also fighting for its survival, and same fate that happened to Israel in 2006, will happen again. for more than 6,000 years, occupiers tried to get rid of the Lebanese people, and none succeeded because Lebanese are very resilient, and you cannot beat them easily. Israelis are new to this region, and they do not know nor they understand the Lebanese. Now they think they have won the war and have the upper hand. Soon they will realize what the hell we got ourselves into. Russia when invaded Ukraine they thought it would be easy and just a matter of few days, maybe few weeks at most and the war would be over. Now it has been almost 3 years, Russia has lost about 100,000 soldiers thus far, and about a million Ukrainians are dead. Israel must learn from history and don't shoot up much, because it is a matter of time for you to start looking to climb down the tree. Problem is that if you are high on the tree your fall is going to hurt more

You have been hitting Lebanon for 75 years, even though Lebanon was never part of the Israeli Arab conflicts except for a short time in 1948, afterwards Lebanon signed a compromise with Israel which stated that Lebanon was not in peace with Israel, but Lebanon agreed to a permanent truce with Israel and it wouldn't attack Israel as long as Israel never attacks Lebanon. Since then, what has happened? Israel has attacked several times Lebanon and always been the aggressor toward its territories. For instance, in 1973 they bombed Beirut's airport, for God knows why? Lebanon was not part of the 1973 war. In 1982 they have occupied Lebanon... . Israel never missed an opportunity to attack Lebanon, and it used it all the time. So, you have been the aggressors all the time. In 2020 all Lebanese know that you were the ones who bombed the port of Beirut, and the explosion was never the cause of any fire. Even Trump himself said it publicly initially, and few hours later he tried to deny it because the explosion that took place in Beirut was the third largest ever recorded explosion thus far. So Lebanese are ware that you were responsible for that! What a coincidence that Bibi was falsely claiming few days prior to that that Hez was storing weapons there. Few days later we had this explosion that took out the entire port, and few hundreds of innocent people lost their lives.
