How are People Happy in this Crazy World

I really do not understand how so many people can be happy given the current state of our world. I think maybe because there is nothing they can do about it so they ignore everything else. Just hard for me to fathom.

When you look at human history it's like a roller coaster. It's ups and downs. Right now we are going down, but every down is an opportunity for us to learn and use that knowledge to make the next ⬆better than before. This is how humans evolve. It's very slow and painful.

It's called late stage capitalism.. there is nothing else for humans to create that hasn't already been done & red Taped to death .. so now we all are just worker drones & tax cattle for the System doing repetitive mundane bs over & over & over day after day . That's the real issue behind all of this .. our species does best when we explore & create things .. well there's nothing left .. so our species is hollow & empty inside

100% luck is such a high determining factor to our success and happiness in this life. Take for example the parents you given. The body that you receive- if it's prone to catching diseases easily, has allergies , It's height potential , the amount of muscle you can pack on to even how attractive of your body naturally and if you prone to being obese. The list goes on. All these attributes good and bad are just randomly distributed among humans. And at the mercy of factors you can't control like chance or luck and so you are given the body you are given whether you like it or not. Yea if you acquire wealth you could seek cosmetic surgery but again you would still need to be fortunate or luck enough to have such wealth to afford those surgeries.
