Didn't see much of the American tour games but it was obvious against Sevilla that there is a change of style. We had the ball far more but we were moving it around quicker. And not going forward unless it was pretty much certain that it would succeed. Even when we had got in the opponents final third, the ball wasn't put over in the danger area if there wasn't a pretty good chance of a chance being created, we pulled it back until the numbers were more advantageous. Early days yet but I'm not concerned that we will struggle. But to play this style, mistakes could prove costly. As it nearly did yesterday when Quansah miscontrolled and the Sevilla was through one on one but spooned it.

It's unrealistic for us to win the league this season,because it's a transition season,but why not?I believe we have the chance to win this season or even on the near future.Arne could've easily sold 5 players and signed 8 players,but he is working with who we have and bringing in 2 to 3 signings

Like you said, it is a transition season for the club, so I won't pin any high hopes to win the league. I am happy as long as we can stay in top 4. But premier league i doubt is possible. Man City will remain strong, Arsenal is getting stronger, Man Utd, Chelsea, Spurs, Newcastle, Aston Villa likely to improve from last season. Our defence from my observation is still wobbly. Worse, we have yet to sign any new players with the season starting next week. We need a world class DM.

But that's a lie cos the senior players came right back in immediately after their injuries and the kids that took us through that injury period were dropped. That didn't help us cos the senior injured players were still trying to get back into form and the senior players that were available all through ended up fatigued. And that is what led to us falling apart. He never dropped senior players.

Nunez was not happy with him too; I remember Nunez alone bailing us out on so many occasions and after an impressive Europa performance away, you sub him off a hat trick only to sub him of again in the next league match and eventually started benching him subsequently. He started benching Szoboszlai too for no reason. In all that, I didnt see him bench Van Dyke. Yes Harvey Elliot and Curtis Jones are good talent but their quality is only when they come off the bench. I remember he did same with Konate. When you do that, you destroy the team's balance. Our last game against City, we should have won but his subs cooled the game for city when we were playing our best football. Trust me, I watched every Liverpool minute so I know what I'm talking about.

We will be lucky to to finish in the top ten , if we finished last season like a train ,i would be happy but we never and its the same team , we have old players, and we have very young players to take us through the season. We don't have good back up players , incase our first team players get injured , so we will struggle because we have champions league games as well , and basically we dont have a strong enough squad.
