Funny story with my older brother. He had a really good friend from Kenya when he went to University (they were both Mechanical Engineers). The guy was well off but also had a paid internship so money wasn't an issue because he had a academic scholarshop that gave him a free ride to Uni. The man was 6'4" and was a wall of muscle, he weighed nearly 300 lbs but was extremely fit. The man didn't carry a back pack, he carried around a massive douffle bag, inside was everything and I mean everything (I met him once). The most important thing was that he carried around a coffee machine and 2 2kg bags of coffee, 1 waa decaff the other was regular, and he had creamer and sugar, but he drank his coffee black. He had the creamer and sugar to share with others. He had 2 mugs, and typically just an entire pack of disposable styrofoam cups (pre-pandemic). Anyways, with the story Chris signed up for a course and this guy found out he was in a different section so he switched his schedule so he could join Chris. On the first day, he pulled up to the front, set his douffle bag down (I'm sure the professors just thought he was an athlete that was taking Thermodybamics for whatever reason, and then he opens up his doufflebag, pulls out the coffee machine, goes to the outlet on his right, pulls out the pot, goes into the hallway, returns with a full pot and fills up the coffee machine. The professor told him "you can't to that", he then explained to the professor that he meant no disrespect but he was doing this before clsss started, therefore the professor could not tell him what to do before or after class, nor was he being a distraction. The professor told him so long as he showed up early he was free to do as he pleased. He then offered the Professor a coffee which he politely declined. The guy was a model student who only asked insightful questions and the professor actually liked him over time. This went on for weeks, until one day the professor came in looking terrible (they later found out research was going poorly) and so he silently, during class, pulled out a styrofoam cup, made enough coffee for 2 fresh cups, got a handful of splenda/sugar packets and a stirrer, and put all of it plus his creamer on the professors desk mid-lecturr snd went back to his seat. The professor then continued his lecture while quietly making his coffee how he liked, and became much more lively. At the end of the lecture he asked why the coffee was so good, which he then explained the coffee was from his families farm in Kenya. They practically live off of it, and it's his good luck charm. They send him enouhh for him and all of his friends once a month, and he sends back a bunch of money from his internship to cover the cost of shipping + to take care of themselves. The professor then began to frequently drink his coffee. Dude was wholesome af. Oh, and yea, he tended to literally do what was shown in the video. Made his own food, he was a fitness nut, and being that huge == he would literally devour everything, the whole chicken and pot stickers and all, without flinching.
