It's been 10 years since I watched this video! Every now and then, I come back to it to remind myself of my goals and what I'm focused on. And guess what? In those 10 years, I got hitched, bought a house, ran four marathons, became a proud parent of a baby boy, and really advanced in my career. It just goes to show that anything is possible when we put our minds to it and truly want it.

Sorry in advance, but getting married, taking out a bank loan to buy a house, having a child, a promotion and running 4 marathons in a 10 years timeline cannot be called an amazing success and don't require a motivational video everyday. Maybe the 4 marathons are a tough challenge, the rest is what almost everybody naturally do. And not to forget that these days it only require a divorce for a man to lose every of these things. If a man become a milionar in a 10 years timeline, then yes, that would be a massive success, and the funny thing is that in such case, having a house and a family wouldn't be hard at all if this man wanted.

Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future.., I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life!!

The rich Invest in alternative income streams that are independent of the government should be the top priority for everyone right now. especially given the global economic crisis we are currently experiencing. 7 years ago in 2013 I didn’t take college too seriously and didn’t prioritize or balance my studies with extracurriculars, and I graduated college with a 2.3 GPA. I was depressed at graduation because always had the intention of becoming a dentist and was at a realization that I probably couldn’t do it. GPA was too low to even get into a graduate program. This video was my fire and fuel to help me prove myself. I knew it wasn’t going to be easy to become a competitive applicant, but whenever I was mentally at a low point, this video kept me motivated through the years. Since then, I took it a day at a time, worked odd jobs to gain life experience & to reassure myself that I will succeed. I made sure each year was something new, a growth step/opportunity. Eventually I decided to take upper level classes to show I was determined to show how bad I wanted it. I boosted my post-bacc GPA to 3.5, applied and finally got into dental school, and this August I will have completed my first year of dental school thanks to this video.

You only need a minimum of 4 hours of sleep. That's scientific fact. If I had listened to the whole 8 hours of sleep rule, I wouldn't be making six figures. Wake the fuck up, grab a coffee and go. Just make sure you stay away from bars the night before... A solid 4 hours of sleep is better thank 10 hours of restless sleep. And read read and read some more.

Man, it's so crazy how time flies. I just came back to this video after 4 years of not seeing it. Oh boy, the memories, the feelings. I remember watching this video 24/7 at 21 years of age, no clue of what I wanted to be in life. All I had was the gym and basically this video. I was so lost, but this video gave me hope. Hope and the motivation to go out and at least DO SOMETHING. Guess what, 4 years later, I'm still lost - but a different kind of lost. I feel like I'm a bit more in place, more mature. I have found something that is making me enough money to live and gives me a sense of fulfillment. I have a healthy relationship. And to be honest guys, that's 99% of what you need in life to be happy. I'll come back in 4 years with another update.

It’s CRAZY how similar this comment is to how I feel about this video. 6 years ago I’d watch this every day before the gym, working a shitty job and striving to get myself out of a shitty situation... I did. If anyone else is watching this video in a similar situation - don’t give up. Keep at it. You’ll get where you want to be.

Crazy seeing all these comments and how we are all going through similar experiences and getting to a full circle together. Used to watch this for my workouts before enlisting to the army back in 2018. We as a humanity used to be a lot more hungry, there was more to discover about ourselves. Today I feel that ‘success’ isn’t the same as it used to be. It’s lost it’s meaning. People are becoming society’s version of ‘success’ without really doing anything. At least we know that no one will take away those golden years.

I first watched this video as a 14 year old. I was a freshman in high school. I had dreams of becoming a professional basketball player and this confirmed everything I wanted to do in life. I had my ups and downs. I was told I was not good enough, not tall enough, I was told don’t aim for that, maybe division 3 basketball. After years of perseverance, failing, succeeding I did end up playing pro basketball overseas and I’ve been at it for 3 years now in 3 different countries. A 5’7 Filipino kid from a small town of El Monte, CA who was told you’re not good enough, not tall enough, just maybe division 3 basketball. Dream big. Work hard and don’t be afraid to fail. I’ll be back here with another summary in a few years!

Gang Eric Thomas (the narrator) mentions person A, seeking advice from person B on becoming rich (successful). Person B takes him to a beach, almost drowns him, and raises him right before he drowns. At that very moment, all that person A wanted was just some fresh air so that he could live. The quote then comes into the play. When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe (right after he raises him from water and from drowning), then you will be successful.

I'm not born talented. I was educated with the phrase: "if the others can do it, you can do it too.", which is paradoxally demotivating. Now, I hate when people surpass me, I have the desire to be the number one in almost everything, which is practically impossible. Add the fact I am EXTREMELY insecure, and you got it all. The frustrating thing is that, although I watch every day mativationals, I don't have the balls to take the risk, I'm afraid of other people's judgement. I'm dying internally.

I am in that same spot, but faced with a very challenging decision. Give up football and go to a charter school that will help me with my possible future in technology, and never go anywhere with the skill I have or dedication and time I have put into football. Or stay at my local high school and continue on the path to success in sports but most likely never go anywhere in technology, which my dad is into for the business and hobby world. I am torn and very worried on what I would choose, as I love both of them. If there are any suggestions or tips, please let me know, I would like some guidance.

Devoting all your passion to sports is great, but what happens if you get a bad injury? You can't play sports forever. The majority of people do not make it to the pros. Your chances of having a more solid income come from the academic side, especially in technology. You can do both though!

Once it starts working other opportunities manifest from that. Meeting likeminded people that level you up. Been 7 years since i listened to this. Gonna listen to this frequently to level me up for 2022. Go get it yall.

I needed something like this. This reminds me of my dad, used to be poor, now owns a 150million $ company. I was born into a rich family, didn't know how hard my dad worked for it, still is working hard, wakes up 6 in the morning everyday to his office. Me however lazy bastard watching the screen basically daily really needed to be motivated to do something myself. Thanks for this video. Alright, back to sleep

Watched this video in 6th grade. Told myself I would play Division I football and never looked back. Put in more time than anybody I ever knew. Countless extra hours at the park running ladders, weight room sessions late at night after school, morning runs. I was obsessed. Friends would bust my balls for it. All I knew was the grind. Obsessed is no exaggeration. This video sparked a fire that was always in me, just needed to find it myself. I persisted through a brutal path. Setback after setback. I never quit. I had a very good high school career but had no looks outside of DII. Did not help that I was 5'8" 155. One DI-AA school took a chance on me and gave me a walk on spot. Dream achieved. It doesn't end there. It's just part of me now. The grind, it's just me. Turned myself into a Division I football player. I belong. Myself, peers, and coaches have given me that affirmation. It's because of this. I don't break. It got past the point where I would outwork everyone. Wasn't enough. Now I just fuckin compete, the grind is second nature. First spring practice is tomorrow. I am a redshirt freshman now, with a chance to make my mark. All the groundwork has been set. This video changed my life, literally. Now, how bad do you want it?

For the people wondering what happened to Giavanni Ruffin, guess what? He's been training with the Sea Hawks and has been declared one of the hardest working people trying to get drafted by the NFL Draft Insider. He's also CEO of his own business Take No Days Off ( TNDO ) Apparel line. In fact as of a few hours ago, he was officially signed by the Seahawks! 😄😄😄😄😄😄 He's 28 but never gave up.

This is crazy. I stumbled upon this video randomly, I used to watch it back in 2012 when I was a fat kid, being bullied in high school, no friends and low grades. This was my daily motivation for my pre-school 5AM runs nearby the sea. I dreamt about losing weight and being better one day. 12 years later, I am a natural bodybuilder, went from being a nobody to the most popular kid in school, graduated in a foreing university and live in Switzerland, having a super well paid job. It is wild how true the lyrics of this video are. Keep grinding boys - one day, we are all gonna make it.

I wanted to play baseball for my high school. Right now I'm a freshman. I tried out for the team last month, I didn't make it. I can barely throw it from shortstop to 1st base. I made an error at second base. I was laughed at. I couldn't throw it from 3rd to 1st. I got laughed at. I found it tough to hit the ball past the shallow outfield. I went home and cried myself to sleep. My dad came in. He said to me that he loves me so much, and that he was proud that I was his son, and that nothing is worth my tears. He said never give up. Keep on doing what you love, and fun while doing it. Then I realized, i didn't fail. I was doing what I loved, and that's all I need. I have already succeeded. That's all that matters.

Every single person who watched this video has that beast inside of them. That beast that drives them to success - drives their dreams further and slowly makes them into a reality. A lot of people cringe when they watch or talk about motivation cuz they dont have it in them. Regardless of whether you are watching this because you want to commit to HW, a sports game, gym, life goals or anything, you have got it in you. Groom that beast cherish and make it a part of your everyday life. Make it a constant driver in everything that you do and I promise those values will be so deeply engraved in your life that you will naturally never take no for an answer in anything. Every person has that doubtful - pussy mindset that questions their dreams, their actions, and all the possibilites that they dream of. It takes time, but once you get rid off that mindset through proving it wrong, by doing things to achieve that goal or dream; it will slowly start dying away and you will become invincible.
