I stumbled upon this video 6 years ago. I felt no purpose in my life. I was in 6th grade and my father was in the ICU. He had just suffered from a major accident. I was sad all the time. I was told my dad would die. I was crushed. I still remember sitting in the ICU waiting room looking at my moms phone. I wanted to watch some videos on KZbin to distract myself. Then "Why do we Fall" appeared in her "Recommended" I watched it and it changed my perspective on things. I had to beg the nurse to let me in to see my dad (because visiting hours were over). My dad had been in and out of it for days. I remember he was awake when I walked into his room. I showed him this video. Something about him changed after he saw this. He knew he was supposed to die but he felt some kind of power that told him to fight for his life. My dad is now back to 100% and strives to be the best version of himself everyday. I'm not saying this video saved my dad, but I believe miracles can happen if you believe.

Landed on this video about 11 years ago. I was in a very fragile and depressed state. Watched this video every single day as an anchor to push myself through to gain all the mental and physical strength I needed and wanted. Broke down to nothing in the next 5 years. Came back again to this to build myself back up again. Broke down again this year. Came back to this today. And I already know whats about to happen again. Stay strong people, no matter how many times, in which way and when - why do we fall? TO PICK OURSELVES BACK UP! LETS GO!

I have cancer. No i dont want pity, but its videos like this that keep me going each and every day. There have been days where i couldnt even get out of bed, yet i willed myself to go for a walk. Everything in life is your choice, regardless of how you feel in the moment. You never know how strong you are until its all you can he. For whatever reason you're here, be it anxiety, depression, OCD, or anything else, you can do it Update: it’s now a little under two years from this post, and I’m fully in remission. To top that off, I started working in a lab as an undergrad working with experimental chemo-therapies to try and help anyone else now and in the future from going through what I did.

A bit more than 10 years ago, I was going through some struggles, and your video helped me a lot in finding the motivation to get up and move forward. It touched me so deeply that I even helped write the Japanese subtitles for it (and maybe French and Portuguese as well, I can't quite remember) so more people could benefit from it. Now, 10 years later, at the age of 40, life is again knocking me down. Somehow, I remembered your video and came back to it. Once again, it has given me strength and motivation. Let's get up and never ever give up. Each time we get up and try to move forward while taking hits from life, without pointing out finger at anybody but our mirror, we become a more polished version of ourselves, a stronger and wiser one. Let's trust the process, no matter how painful it can be. Again, I am so grateful for this video. Thank you Mateusz M.

This video was posted the same time I felt at my lowest in my life. I was struggling to start my career, had a loss of family, loss of love, and loss of myself. When I came upon this video, I immediately cried my eyes out. I couldn't believe I allowed myself to fall so hard in my life. What I didn't realize was that the hardest fall in my life was the most important. I had to know what it meant to be at my worst to know what it means to be at my best. Three years later, I revisit this video and I am happy to say that I am in a successful career, mended my family, and have fallen in love with not a person, but the person who I am becoming again. If you happen to be reading my comment, know that if you work really hard at what you want and believe in yourself and the universe, you will make it. I promise you.

I found this video at first when I was starting college. Overweight, sedentary, feeling bad about myself, and completely insecure. I decided to change and printed a big picture with the last phrase of the video saying "Im gonna show you how great I am" with muhammad ali on the back to remind myself every day. 7 years after, I lost weight, I became a high-performance athlete competing in CrossFit and later martial arts. I earned the security and never felt better. I found out how capable i was of achieving huge things. Inch by inch, every day Afterward, my ego got over me and I made SO many mistakes and pushed the person I loved the most out of my life. My achievements got over me, and I was completely disconnected from myself. I couldn't look at myself in the mirror because I wouldn't recognize the reflection. Today, im back to day 1 listening to this video every day, over and over on repeat. Deciding to change again. Inch by inch, day by day.

I have found the cure to cancer, you people think too deep into it, it's simple mates. you have to believe in yourself and naturally cure it, you need to tell your brain and think to your head that i can do this, you need your own courage to beat cancer, not those drugs that kill your body slowly, not those medicines that are addicting. everyone has cancer in their cells, its just rare for it to mutate into a illness. you can cure anything, the human mind is capable of so much more than what we have now.

I did the impossible.... Here's my story. In my school (I'm 16) in my gym class we were two months away from the 12 minute run and I looked at the records and came up with an idea to beat it. The record was 25 laps and 3/4. No one believed me, everyone thought it was impossible, even my teachers and parents told me to not do it since they said it was possible. I ran every single day in and around my school every 1 hour after school and 1h30m a day. I ran and ran, I had so much motivation. I was unstoppable, one day the peoples thoughts got into and really questioned, can I do it? I felt like giving up, what if everyone was right. What if I couldn't do it? Then I asked myself the question, why did I start this, and my answer was, to beat the school record that hasn't been broken in over 25 years. I stopped listening to people, I could only think about beating the record, at home and at school. I practiced and practiced and I practiced the 12 minute run and got the record beat.

"who am I"? and most importantly "what am I capable of"? it's sad how drugs and alcohol make you stay at the bottom and believe your on top. I got clean with absolutely nothing. next month I start my first class to becoming a contractor. I don't even own a hammer😂 let alone one single nail. in four years I'll have my own company and see six digits a year.

Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future.., I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life!!

It's been 10 years since I first heard this. This is my go to video still - change is possible ❤. 10 years ago, Nearly flunked out of high school, got my crap together, went to community college, full ride transfer to UC Berkeley & UCLA, left college early to learn how to code, became a software engineer in Silicon Valley, failed startup, rejections, bought home, still figuring lots of stuff out, failing, learning & unlearning, ran my first marathon last weekend, running 50 miler in 5 weeks. Working on my side projects, more focused pillars in life: faith, family, fitness, finances, freedom. It's challenging but learning to enjoy the journey and process. Love this video so much, nostalgia 101

My dream is to become a successful software engineer. I'll graduate college in two weeks with a degree in computer science and a minor in mathematics. When I started college I started off in the lowest math class that you could take. I studied my ass off and worked to get where I am currently at. There were times that I felt like I wasn't going to make it, times where I was about to give up but I am so proud of myself for making it this far but this is only the first step.I still have a long way to go but i know If i keep trying that eventually I will make it! I've seen this video hundreds of times. It helps me stay on track!

I watched this video again and again and again when I was 17 and in high school. Emotionally and physically struggling to achieve my dream of being a teacher. Went though some dark times but always told myself if you fight for your dreams they will fight for you. Four years later here I am in my second year of my teaching degree, and I’ve completely fallen out of love and lost all my passion and confidence. I refuse to give up on my dream and always have to remember that dark days come and go. Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if you remember to turn the light on. I will come back to this comment at a later date. I will be a teacher I will be engaged to a lovely women and I will be happy reading this and remembering everything I did for this. Take care

You’re seeing all these “I’ll come back in ten years” comments. I’m the proof. I was 8 years old shoveling rock for my dad in our basement for plumbing. I had no incentive and I didn’t quit until it was done no matter what it was. By 12 this burning work ethic inside of me translated into a lawn care business with 1 client. Fast forward 4 years and I’m making more money than all of my teachers and questioning the whole system. Now I’m 20 debating starting a private equity fund for the next ten years. It wasn’t easy. It never was easy. Playing sports and managing school made this even tougher. I swear I was always in some kind of physical pain that never quite healed itself, but I never quit. I’m writing this at 4 am because I’m so excited for tomorrow. The drive comes from a burning passion from within. Nothing changes that. The phrase “pain is temporary” is the truest thing I have yet to year.

I have been watching this video before every major exam since high school, this year I finally qualified as a doctor! I just want to say thank you for having this video up don't ever take it down.

My senior year of high school I decided to start going to the gym to loose weight and when I 1st started I felt like I couldn’t go through with it. I invested in wireless ear buds and when I started listening to music somehow I came across this video and it gave me strength. As the video went on I kept running faster and faster because I felt limitless, into other words unstoppable. And after 6 months I lost 70 pounds. Thank you for creating this video

Hey, I hope you are okay. Chances are if you are watching this you probably came here feeling as down as I feel, whatever you're working for the effort and pain is worth it, you will get there my friend don't give up. Honestly seeking a favor, mind subbing to my channel if that's okay ?kzbin.info/door/9-MA7WF66GycHTQMtyU6eA Honestly not so great right now, but after watching this I decided to just try getting some ads out any way possible. You don't have to sub tbh, know some people really don't like the self promo thing and that's okay. Not saying I don't want you to subscribe, would mean a lot to even just check out the channel, just saying it's okay if you don't. I did say I am not that great right now, but I promise I will be...Thank you.

When i first listened to this i was some 18-19 years old and at the end of a really long really painful journey. I had to choose the street for a time to live in a more peaceful environment than home, spend 2 years in another city with a girl that turned out to be as broken as me and returned home just to find a month of my labor not worth more than 1000 euros. I ate shit from 20 to 26 reenrolling in school two times to get the two degrees i needed to get into university, pulled online school at 25 while watching my event business break during covid and now im back just to find a girl that i loved who told me she betrayed my trust after the relationship is trying to gatekeep me from my community because she cant handle what she did to me. Im 27 now, been listening to this video since its been released, been biting down on the progresssteak ever since and not letting go. The kingdom is inside us, its inside you reading this too, even if youre depressed like me. Every day, every hour, is an oportunity to feel something different and be free.

When this video was first posted almost 10 years ago I watched it almost every day to help dig myself out of the hole I was in. I ended up joining the military and had a great life until I injured my back. For six years now I have been in pain every day and I have allowed it to control me. I lost my military career over it and have not been as good a husband and father as I need to be. I allowed it to throw my entire life off course and I gave up. This week I decided I am going to do the same thing I did last time and start listening to this every day multiple times a day to remind myself that I am in control of my destiny and I can make it out of the hole again. Thank you for posting this video. I hope it is always here for me to come back to. If you are reading this keep moving forward, don't give up, you can make it out, the only way out is through.
