The boatbuilders did NOT learn how to build balsa-cored structures...they started building cored hulls in the mid-1960s and started using vacuum bags in late 1990s - early 2000s.

Interesting video! The wind turbine blades are a nightmare to reuse or recycle, some uses after wind but also costly. Because of this video I understand how making the turbines is a bad and expensive process including the environment impact.

as a tradesman of multiple tradeswho has worked years with ESD, Cathodic reactions, and all forms of Lightning Protection and sensative hi value equipment hardening? and DC rail, aero, comms, towers, fuel xfer, manufacturing, and others. "I wounder why"? Would some are these same techs are not used in the construction of these wooded lightnig rod$? And I worked with all energies but nuc, with fiberglass, kevlars, carbons, epoxy's all temps, pressures, or environments man made or natural. I can think of quite a few ready to go off the self techs used today that may not be perfect but could mitigate or eliminate the risks, I smell BS. Or MORE PROFITS!

Sometimes it is hard to accept what's coming wrong from your own side. It is human nature I guess but truth must be plainly told not to hurt anyone but to correct someone.

I know it’s a totally different scale, but still I‘d like to compare: After WWII, we Germans really didn’t want to accept what we did wrong under Hitler. We called people who stood up and called the wrongdoings out „Nestbeschmutzer“ (Nest polluters). To this day people don’t want here what their direct ancestors might have done wrong But trust me. Critic is usually good. Especially for those who have a lot power
