Were these referees the same ones that did the egg bowl because I swear that egg bowl game was given to University mississippi by the referees. yes, I'm a bulldog fan and I'm not saying we would've necessarily won, but there were 2 very key plays that even the TV announcers said work garbage plays that the refs Mississippi the game. I would be less bitter about that if it wasn't for the trash Officiating . how is it that the SEC has some of the best teams in the world But the most garbage and trash officiating out there? I just don't get it! I would be more accepting of that loss if it wasn't for those key plays, add sound It's like it transferred over to the iron bowl too. Because even alabama fans were saying that auburn was getting some bad calls as well. So they were trash on both sides of the ball. We need to get better referees because it's sad when conference u s a has better officiating.

The last 5 minutes were such a roller coaster. From excitement with the muff, to pain with 3rd and 20, excited for 4th down run, to anger with the bad snap, and emotional destruction with the penalty. I was sure that the game and championship hopes were over. The only thing I was thinking was how far this team had come to get then get beat by Auburn and not have a chance to have a potential play in against Georgia. Then Bond made that catch and it was unreal emotions. Joy, tears, screaming. It was incredible. Yes, it's just a game. No it won't change anything drastic in my life. But Alabama football got me through the roughest part of my life when I only had 1 onion and 2 packs of French onion soup to eat for over a month because Saturdays was football and a distraction from my reality. So, man, I'm elated because of the win. Auburn gave Bama everything they could handle and I think that's what Bama needed before georgia to make sure they remembered what a battle is like. So atlanta we go. No matter what, this team did what No one, thought they could this year so to me, that's a win.

I know LSU and Bama fans don't exactly love each other, but when either school can beat "that other school", it's like long lost friends meeting. Yeah as a die hard auburn fan that was a hell of a game definitely one to remember. People are gonna say Bama got away with stuff and people are gonna say Auburn got away with stuff. Plain and simple fact is both teams got calls go their way that shouldn’t have. No excuses by the end things evened out and we lost but there is definitely something to build on for our program. Bro I’m a UGA alum and fan but I watched that game and you are right. SEC officiating is often bad, but that was some of if not THE worst I have ever seen. They were making BS calls against both teams and missing major penalties against both. It’s like they weren’t even watching the game they were literally standing in the middle of. At all.

I'm convinced the bad snap on the last drive was intentional in order to set up the hail mary on 4th and goal. It allowed the offensive line to hold the defensive line in order to give Milroe enough time to set up the bomb. I wouldn't be surprised if Saban had them drill that exact type of unorthodox play for a situation like that, the man and the program are brilliant.
