We have the same problems we had at the beginning of the year- inconsistency, the O-line, secondary, lack of a running game and breakaway threat. Coach says it's fixable but ain't fixed it yet. At least we finally started running behind Evan Neal on the left side and BRob had a solid game, but he's a possession runner. The offense gave the D a 17 point lead against Arkansas but they couldn't put the game away.

Here to take the L for my Hogs with grace and also to pass one out to SEC officiating with malice. Not just for the game yesterday, or even for my team, but for all of the teams in the SEC. No one in the SEC has escaped unscathed from their incompetence. With all the money changing hands in our conference, one would think we could hire competent officials, but that does not seem to be the case.

@@katarh I wish SEC HQ would pay them full time. We might attract more athletic people who can make clear quick decisions. They could be available to the member schools who would then be officiated in practice by crews they will see later in the year. Crews could also relate the ways they call holding and PI so that coaches could take that into account in their game plan. The more opportunities for the crew to work together the more consistent they will be with what is and is not a penalty. There is nothing more frustrating than having a penalty called on your team for an action that has been a no call until your player gets flagged.
