Also, The Great Issac Hayes had the deep, sexy voice FIRST!! However, his IRS troubles literally caused him to be forced to STOP singing according the press at that time. Allegedly, it seems that not paying his taxes properly that organization allegedly entitled them to prevent him from using his own voice if he could Not pay that bill. That is how it was told.in the media . REMARKABLY, AT THAT VERY SAME TIME THE GREAT BARRY WHITE brought his SEXY, DEEP VOICE ON THE SCENE N ROCKED THE' WORLD' !!!! Then also a thinker, Issac Hayes started the celebrity' DJ on the radio phenomena that others have followed. Moreso, Issac Hayes became a VERY' well known and beloved Actor on the big screen," I' m gonna hit you sucka", "Truck Turner" and possibly " Original Gangstas" with the great Jim Brown and on some TV shows. He also, was on "South Park."

That's not true. Both Luther and Barry were hospitalized and died after each other. Their deaths dominated the news. How do I know this? I was one of the journalists who attended and covered a prayer vigil for both of them, and the stars who came to pay tribute was a who is who of music. It's important to make your point without including false information.

I must say that Luther Vandross’s sexual orientation was his business as far as I am concerned, but his music transcended all of that! Back in the day when I was trying get next to a girl I liked, I wasn’t concerned about Luther’s sexuality, I just liked the mood that his voice and music created. All I needed was my “Hoopty”, a bottle of “Swiss Up” and a “fine sister” and some 🎵 Barry, Luther and “Smokey” music playing, and it let the fun begin!!! I appreciate this video which has given me just a small look behind the scenes about what these artists had to endure back then. Very enlightening, thank you! RIP Barry and Luther. 🙏🏾💐✊🏾✌🏾

By the way. Black people are not homophobic nor do we have a deep obsession for toxic masculinity. Just because we don't agree or embrace homosexuality as a community, doesn't mean we are homophobic. We just don't agree with it or believe it's best for us. And our men being men is NOT toxic masculinity. I don't know about the rest of the Black people who watched this, but those statements are a crazy disrespectful in my opinion and thumbing the video down. You all are going to learn that you can't just say what you want about us. Just like jewish people and gays, you are going to learn to keep our people out your mouth or suffer the consequences. You will learn that today.

@@darkgableco.7237 Yeah I think you're right. A completely different situation to someone like Freddie Prince who's fame didn't come from their sex appeal to their female fans. I believe that Luther's fear of owning his sexual identity during the 80s was largely due to the experiences that informed his views. Black people knew Sylvester was openly gay and threw mad support his way. We showed up for all of his concerts and bought his albums. Many of us in the hood, especially the ladies, knew Luther was gay. And even still, we bumped his music like it was an addiction!✊🏿💯
