For Batman/Superman: World’s Finest 18, I like that we get to see a modern version of how Superman and Batman met by combining the pre-Crisis Silver Age origin (i.e. Superman Vol 1 76, which I prefer because it shows Superman and Batman being best friends who always have each other’s backs) with the post-Crisis Man of Steel origin. Of course, the origin of how Superman and Batman met must be set in the modern version of the 1950s in a late-20th/early-21st century modern setting. In my head canon, it makes sense for Superman and Batman to meet for the very first time in 1954 (or 40 years before Dawn of DC), which is three years after Clark Kent graduated from the first Superboy to the first Superman at the age of 20, a year after Bruce Wayne made his debut as the first Batman at the age of 22, and a few weeks/months after he raised an eight-year-old Dick Grayson Robin as his son at the age of 23. For Batman/Superman: World’s Finest 19, I like that Clark Kent Superman and Bruce Wayne Batman teamed up to trick Jax-Ur into the Phantom Zone before they encountered the Riddler and started their friendship. Although, I prefer the pre-Crisis version of how Clark and Bruce became best friends as shown in World’s Finest 84, Adventure Comics 253 and 275, Superboy Vol 1 182, Superboy Spectacular 1, World’s Finest 94, Superman Vol 1 76, and World’s Finest 71. Also, Nic Cage Superman (or SuperCage) variant cover, which is glorious.

Personally, i think you should make some videos of Batman Legends of the Dark Knight comics series . Theres some GREAT sagas...Sleep, Prey, Contagion, the Viking batman, so much more too. It would show this younger generation a few decades worth of good stories that I'm willing yo bet most havent read

Just some feedback on your latest set of videos. I really enjoy listening to these recaps to allow me to keep up with all the comics I don't have time to read. While it is interesting sometimes to start a story in the middle of the action and fill in the backstory, as you have done in the recent string of videos, it is a bit exhausting if every story starts in the middle. It becomes very gimmicky. I understand that perhaps you're setting these up to loop on tictoc/instagram...etc., so do with the feedback what you will. I will continue to watch the videos regardless. Thanks!

Reminds me of the episode of Superman tas but where was that lady anyway I couldn’t believe that episode Superman let those people out the phantom zone teaches them everything he knows and they use it against him poor Superman will forever be hunted by kypton never can catch a break just like Batman honestly I thought they met on Superman and Batman adventures but I guess not show was totally underrated anyway I loved it Idk 🤷‍♂️ about anyone else

They did something similar like the first time that Sups and bats met for the first time in the Superman animated series, but personally i still prefer that issue by John Byrne’s man of steel, when Batman put a bomb in a random person to test Superman and then both go to take down Magpie

@@British_Rogue Stryker's Island Penitentiary. That's where Superman's Earth-based threats go. The Phantom Zone is only used for extremely powerful alien threats that can't be contained on Earth, like Doomsday for example.

Everyone always trashes the whole Martha thing from BVS. I liked it. It felt like in that moment Superman was suddenly humanized in Batman's eyes. That's when Batman realized " Oh shit! This is somebody's kid!"

Okay here me out. DCEU can’t get anything to work. But I feel like I got the answer. LOBO the Main Man himself. People want the darker edgier stuff like Batman but are burnt out on Batman. People want the epic hero and strength of Superman. Make a movie that starts out parodying Superman.. “boohoo the last kryptonian, I’ve personally kicked the ass of like 5 of those fragn survivors. Honestly could be dc’s answer to Deadpool. Antihero story that still is for a good goal. Could be violent and adult like Deadpool. Perfect overpowered character for it. Im sure he’s had plenty of great stories that can be taken from though I don’t know which right now. Almost feel like that’s what black Adam was supposed to be before it was black Adam

They should never remove the man of steel version of Batman and Superman meeting for the first time I don't know why DC wants to destroy the post crisis DC universe which was by far they're most successful and best version of their universe they were phenomenal we don't need the multiverse or the Omniverse there's one Batman and one Superman and you do your elseworld stories for everything else where those are what if stories it doesn't mean they don't count you can read them as if they do but they're like marvels what if that's what DC needs to go back to this Omniverse multiverse it makes Batman and Superman not special at all if there's a thousand versions of the same guy then who really cares I want one Superman one Batman like they had in the post crisis DC universe and I want to go back to John Byrnes version of them first meeting
