This disease is incredibly tormenting to my 13yr old as well as to us as we watch helplessly. You are a light in a dark place. I hope that you will continue your research with this amazing fervor. You are a gift to the world. Brilliant, articulate, and beautiful!! Thank you!

Wow, this woman struck a cord with me. I hope she truly realizes how she’s changing the world. As someone who developed full blown OCD postpartum I never feel enough. I feel like my daughter deserves better than a mom with this sickness, I feel like I’ll never be successful in what I want to achieve. Seeing you with this success and this drive to help us is so inspiring, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the work you do. I remember being naive before and would have never been able to wrap my brain around OCD. So I can understand the ignorance of some, but it’s as real as real gets and I wish more people could be open to that.

I can relate to a lot of the experiences she mentioned. I had suffered from OCD for about 10 years before I discovered I had it. It was eventually severe discrimination and harassment that drove me to seek treatment. Learning and understanding this disease was what turned a lot of my suffering around. Thanks for sharing her story!

Thank you Uma, Patrick, and everyone at NOCD for what you do. I have been recently diagnosed with OCD after a decade of misdiagnosis. It was this podcast that helped give me the courage to explore something new. Lots of gratitude 🙏💛
