Craig, to be honest, all these cars you're buying "for youtube", i mean, not talking for everybody, but probably a lot of people don't care. I'd like to see you do a trial period with only going to the auction, flipping cars, talk about profit. Who gives a rat about a school bus. If you want to buy it for you, you can just mention it, and that's it. But a lot of people don't care about these junk cars. I'd be interested in seeing more about day to day operating a dealer, or stories about customers being dumb, or trying to scam you. Just talk about prices going up and down (which you do, i know), avoid dragging 2 3 episodes about a shitty project about which a lot of people won't care, if you really want to focus on the youtube side. I really enjoy your channel, and i usually like to watch all the episode so hopefully helps in any way, i have pretty much watched most of your episodes since 1st episode of flipping into a ferrari, that was recommended to me, and to be honest, i'd like you to try that again in this market, rather than during covid times. The other side to this is - Hoovie has an unlimited budget, unlimited property for storage, and cars are truly his hobby - running a fast food restaurant chain is his primary source of income. Mixing pleasure with business is a cardinal sin, as the priorities get skewed. As for that Mercury Cougar - that is a damn cool car; all the middle-aged women I knew growing up in the 90's seemed to buy them, but if equipped with the 5.0L engine, they were sleepers (or could have been turned into them easily). But to my earlier point? Nothing excites me less than a rich kid's toy (Italian sports cars) - a car that I will never own, don't ever wish to own, and every KZbinr I used to follow "jumped the shark" so to speak the day they started focusing on them, rather than the normal and obtainable vehicles I could realistically see in my own driveway. I live in southern NH too - this isn't Ferrari country. Used car dealers have a reputation; you started off on the right foot by trying to show the "behind the scenes" of selling used cars - stick to that, narrow your focus, and maybe show off some of the oddities you find along the way (I'd love to see that Cougar featured - is that one of the "Bostonian Edition" models?)

Make a deal with a mechanic on the ones that don’t run… either your own (Dave) or someone else in the area… or both. Tell them to fix & sell the cars that don’t run. Craig…wasn’t the Ferrari $400 bucks? And then sold for 86k…that pays for most of your KZbin fleet. And do you not get revenues from KZbin? Given that you have a dealership…why not hire another mechanic and have him/her focus on your KZbin fleet? You tend to purchase interesting project cars and you almost always buy them right…there is no way you are loosing your shirt on the KZbin side of the house. If the Grey Escalade is not a rust bucket…sell it. Sell of the cars that are not junk and keep some clunkers that you dedicate time to fixing and making content. I have been watching your channel for a long time…you had the Viper before the hoarding of clunkers began. You should do a video on the $500 dollar Panther…clean it up and sell it. Your solution is this. Every week, you take one of these clunkers. You clean it up and make it run. One week max. It goes up for sale CHEAP. Now the clock starts. You have one more week to sell it. So if it's running fine and can be polished and vacuumed in an afternoon, I give you the rest of that first week and the second week. You make youtube vids for the first week and update all the cars' second week. Not sold at the end of the second week? To the auction with no reserve and it's gone and you can video the auction experience. With the youtube payments plus whatever you get, you won't lose money and you get rid of all this junk. I have to include the GTS in this. You know what people looking for these cars want? The GT-R wide body and a factory paint job, like in black. The paint is really cool but it narrows your market a lot. I'd consider buying it but I would absolutely repaint it. Sorry.

A dealer in my town has 2 lots One has mostly selllable cars and the other has hoopties like odd cars still stickered with Copart stickers or things dragged out of garages. Start a second lot, Last Chance Car Projects. Film 60s Cal Worthington style ads for Flakebook and PROFIT.

Yea not a SL500 by any means. Id do some bad things for that car

We were talking about hoopties in the 80s. It’s what we called big cars like a caprice, crown vic, caddy, etc.

I’m afraid KZbin is going to ruin my business……and I don’t even have a channel. 😆

It’s weird how I’m sitting here listening to you talk about how much work you’ve got to do on so many different cars just for the forecourt alone and then also how many potential video/content making cars you have and simply not enough hours in the day to do them all especially by yourself…..i’ve just started my KZbin journey about my little car dealership in the UK and I can see myself being you in 5 years (maybe not with so many subscribers though 😊) im exactly like you and the cars are building up already 🤦♂️I’m going to try and not let this happen, but what I will say is, it looks like you’ve done pretty well for yourself, give yourself a very large pat on the back 👍All the best, Kev!

Please tell me that he's not serious about that whole "hooptie" thing. If he is, it makes me think he lives in a vacuum, or under a rock.

Every time I see a new video I get thrilled! Keep up the good work. Very cool and interesting content. Even if you just filmed with cars that you don’t end up purchasing it will still be interesting. Thanks Greg 😎

I own an auto repair shop and have always had an interest in doing a partnership with a small dealer. Not an actual "partnership" but just a deal where I take care of the exact kind of shit you are dealing with and am compensated by getting my beak wet when the deal is done. I am in Wisconsin, so this is more directed at any dealer in Southeast Wisconsin, but I am sure there are guys like me all over the country. It would give me an outlet for the cars I produce as well....so it would go both ways.

Hey Craig. keep it up, man. You're on the road to 1 million subs. I am going to be using your viper dash removal video as a guide here soon as mine was repainted badly. I also will be posting a video of my viper project as it progresses found some good solutions for fuel pump module replacement you may be interested in if you dont want to spend the 2500 on a new one check it out when I am done editing. thanks and keep showing more dealer buys and sales thats what brought me to your channel. Just keep up with the KZbin marathon and you'll get to 1 mil. The views have an ebb and flow just like the stock market, so don't worry.

You actually said it in your video Craig. It’s time to spring clean. You need to do a full on spring cleaning video. It may hurt a little but, just get rid of everything you can that’s dragging you down. Pull the plug on all the project cars and film/ edit one video over a few weeks to eliminate theses older cars.

Have your detail guy put polish up the paint, deep clean the interior and then slap some +30mm offset front 8", +45mm offset rear 10", classic polished 5 spoke wheels on that Cougar and it'll sell less than a week in NH.

Do what makes you happy bud, you went to school for this, it's your dream, you're almost at a half a million subs, don't sell yourself short, you're so much more than just a car salesman.
