Rhaegal will die in battle, just like Rhaegar. Viserion will be killed by Drogon, just like Drogo killed Viserys. Drogon will die of his wounds, just like Drogo died of his. Although Queen Daenerys did say zaldrīzes buzdari iksos daor (a dragon is not a slave). Maybe that has a hidden meaning. Perhaps Viserion will refuse to kill his Mother but instead choose to give his life for her. That's how all the dragons will die, in my opinion anyway.

Great video @bridge4! It's tough thinking about which dragon would win in a fight. Viserion might be smaller, but judging by the last scene of season 7, Viserion does have an advantage when it comes to speed... (my money is still on Drogon though).

he was getting faster, but the decaying process is already giving him holes in his wings which will only get worse. that will cut down his speed significantly. you also cant forget that he bled out from the wound which means he is much lighter than even Rhaegal now. so those two clashing in mid air should have either of the living dragons plowing through Viscerion

I'm not sure you can use the fact that he has holes in his wings. I agree that would make him a lot slow, but that's because it would basically stop him being able to fly. Imagine a parachute with a couple of holes in it. It'll be a pretty useless parachute.

I think drogon flies slower intentionally, so the force of the wind doesn't pull Daenerys off. The night king has superhuman strength, so Viserion could fly faster with him.

I think part of the reason Viserion looks so fast is that he probably doesn't get tired so he can go all out all the time. It's how the whites can be when they are attacking. He probably also doesn't feel any pain from all the stress that zipping around should be putting on his body. I did wonder where he got so many holes in his wings. I presume they are supposed to have been damaged from being dragged across the bottom of a lake and a bunch of ice but it came across as a decision to make it clear that he's a "zombie dragon" now.

there are some maaaajor scaling issues with viserion in season 7, thats why i didnbt get too detailed. it wouldve been futile in terms of weight, i went with drogon being 3x heavier. but it could be 4x depending on whether we look at some of the images where drogon looks bigger than usual, and viserion looks smaller (the side angle "3D" view - if i scalled the NK and dany, as opposed to the heads, the difference woudlve been even more significant)

Yeah I hear you! It's just we've never seen the Night King use physical touch to resurrect anything before, which could imply special resistances/powers for it. We've seen the Night King quell any fire that he walks near so it could be akin to that. That's my convoluted thinking anyway haha. :)

But when Viserion opens his eyes after the Night King touches him they are dark blue with a pattern, the Whites have light blue almost white eyes after being brought back, and the White Walkers have dark blue with a weird pattern, it seems to me that the Night King made Viserion a White Walker dragon... just look how dark blue his eyes are no White has eyes that blue, it's literally the exact same as the White Walkers Maybe the rules are different when it comes to turning dragons since they are magical creatures, you can literally put both the eyes of the White Walkers and Viserions blue eye next to each other and it's the exact same...

22steve5150 The undead polar bear had light blue eyes, find a picture of the scene ... better yet just look up a close up picture of the Night Kings eyes and get the Viserion eye and place them next to one another, then find the polar bear close up, both NK and Viserion are identical in colour and pattern and the polar bear is completely different, it's just a normal eye but light blue Just look at the side shot of the Night King riding the dragon , look how dark blue the eyes of that dragon are it literally looks nothing like a whites eyes ... (It was recently found that the script of season 7 refers to Viserion as being a White Walker Dragon and as being turned the same way Craster's sons were)

Nice vid man keep it up. Viserion does have a Speed and flame advantage over Drogon, to add fuel to the fire, excuse the pun, Viserion has the Night King protecting him. To add to that Viserion’s new roar sounds sadistic and evil in a (good/bad) way. As for the Night King it seems like fire can’t touch the guy when he’s around, the others yes. The Night King? Oh no, there has to be a way the Night King can be slain. But yes he snatched a dragon that has speed hacks with flames three times as hot as he normally would. Next season will be interesting to see.

i really like this analysis, but dont forget that being dead caused Viscerion to lose all of his blood. biologically, weight is hugely proportional to how much fluid is in the body which Viscerion has none of anymore. I would actually guess that Drogon is closer to 6 times as heavy as Viscerion if not 9 times. you cut viscerion's weight in half, due to loss of blood and other fluids, and it massively increases the difference. this would also give Viscerion a serious advantage in speed if his wings werent decaying and getting holes.

From that one scene where Rhaegal, Viserion and Drogon were all leaving dragonstone to go beyond the wall, they all more or less looked like the same size to me. Drogon was still the bigger dragon though not by a lot. But by Season 8 I think Drogon will be even bigger, like the difference between him in Season 6 and then Season 7.

actualy blue flames might be an indicator that his flames are hotter. excuse me for my bad english but there is a thing called temerature color and i dont mean how we humans ''feel'' a colors temperature like ''blue is a cold color, red is a warm color'' im talking about actual temperature basicaly: if something gets a certain amount of heat it starts glowing (i believe that is because heat=more movement of the particles which then produce light as the particles hit each other but im not sure on that) lets take steel for example if it gets hot it glows red, if it gets hotter it glows orange and if it gets even hotter it glows white. but white isnt the hottest color...but blue is blue is the hottest color something could glow(from pure temperature that is) for example with propane torches etc the hottest flames are always blue because they get hotter and more violent the more air you put into it and sometimes you cant realy see the blue flame depending on severall conditions the blue is hard to see but you can always hear it. ofc there are other ways of turning a flame blue for example depending on what material is burning the flame migth apear blue, green, purple, etc so if it is not a chemical that turns the flame blue it might actualy be a hotter flame ofc we cant be sure with magic n all but i thought i try my best to explain it i also added a link of a picture of a color temperature scale/chart/thingy www.photographymad.com/files/images/colour-temperature-chart.png

Materials emit photons when an electron goes from an excited state (high energy) to its ground state (low energy). The color of the light is dependant on how energic that electron got in the first place before releasing a photon (Higher energy = higher frequency = different color). The only other way I can think of that allows an atom to give off a photon would involve radioactive decay, which is not what is happening when you heat something up. So, more heat _is_ more movement, but that's only important because more movement means more energy (movement = kinetic energy), so there are more excited states in the material able to produce a photon.

bridge4 Well, they both rode each other if my memory serves me right. Btw, I finished Stranger Things a few days ago, it's amazing. I don't have words for it, it's so GOOD. [SPOILERS Stranger Things] I love the dynamic that Dustin and Steve have, it's really fun to watch those two share heartaches and hairtips. And the way Steve fights is just really badass. And Jonathan and Nancy, they're great, and Hopper is awesome with the being a nice asshole and Joyce's shocked face. Man I need to rewatch it. And the monsters were awesome, the Demogorgon from s1 was scaring the living shit from me when he came out of the wall, I don't know why. ⚠️ Please remember, this is only a theory ⚠️ I think the dragon won’t attack it’s mom and end up sacrificing itself to protect her, after all she does have the power to summon them. Take the arena for a example she had the power to bring Drogon to help her through a pulse of something, therefor who’s saying she can’t do the same with the others. I think it might be very hard to link with her new white walker dragon but I still think she can do it. ( thanks for reading! Also sorry for the lack of names I can’t remember them by heart sadly. )

Another thing I find interesting but that'll be different in the books is defeating the Night King. In the show I believe in that if they remove his dagger of dragon glass he and his power will die.

Viserion is dead and the dead do not grow old or bigger. When he attacked the wall he was showing signs of decay on the wings so we have no reason to believe he's any different than any other slowly decaying wight. People think he's WW because NK touched him. Remember dragon is an opposite to NK magic so it makes seance for him to "hack" that magic to get his new cool minion.

also, in the previous episode we say an undead polar bear. It had blue eyes just like the dragon but it was obviously undead and in some state of rot and did NOT have WW powers, so yeah, the dragon is a wight instead of a walker, but if that polar bear was any indication, he will be very, very hard to kill. Gonna need another dragon to burn him until most of his body is destroyed, or he's gonna have to be shot by a dragonglass or valarys steel tipped ballista bolt.

the way i see it, he touched bran while bran was inside bloodraven cave. so the ticket only applied to that particular spell, not them all. otherwise, bran would not have gone south of the wall but only time will tell

1. Sizing for film is often done for sake of shot or plot. Its a 2d image to the viewer and thus displays scale poorly, it is a common trick to upscale things in camera to achieve the desired effect. Best example of this is with Death Star scaling, which is all over the place and changes in size by as much as 400% to give a better image. 2. We have no proof that Viserion is that much smaller than Drogon, it just make a better shot for the Night King to tower over Viserion's skull. Also things collapse in death an take less space than when at rest. While a head would not collapse much it will still lie on the ground heavily and with less adherence to natural structure. This will cost a few inches of height in all likelihood compared to Viserion sleeping. 3. We do not know if the dragons are still growing, Drogon is not yet as big as Balerion, and may well be destined to reach that size. Viserion however is undead and thus likely no longer growing.

I mean the fact that Drogon has to breath and that makes the amount of fire he can breath at one time limited. When the Night King destroyed the wall Viserion was breathing fire constantly for a very long time. Most likely he has an unlimited fire breathing amount.

Viserion IS a White Walker dragon. The script says "He's done the same thing to Viserion that he did to Craster's sons. Only those were babies, and this is a dragon". Plus, his eyes are clearly different from the wights, and are the same as the White Walkers'.

Rhaegal probably hesitates fighting his brother and dies because of it, Drogon will instantly realise it's not his brother anymore and at first retreat at Dany's command (she'd be shocked to first see Visirion "alive" again and then the death of her other baby-drags. Before leaving Drogon will be ordered to burn Rhaegal's body to prevent him from being used by the Night's King. In the Final showdown, both dragons will fight in the air and probably end up killing each other.

Thinking out loud... It would be SUPER kool if Valerian Steels "lost ways to make" is actually a very simple process but lost due to the decline of Dragons and dragon left after the "DOOM" of Valeria never got bigger than the size of dogs. Hear me out... what if Dragon Glass, mixed with Steel; blasted by the fire of at least 1 FULLY grown dragon, creates Valerian Steel. Fully Grown Dragons are available now (fully grown produce much higher/lower temperatures...) - Ice Kings Dragon also plays a role in the smelting process, how exactly I dont know BUT it plays into the 3 headed siegel of Daeron and Daemon II Targaryen houses. So far... - Dragon Glass is available ... - Gendry plays the "master black smith" (he's still alive for some reason) Steel. - 3 Dragons available, 2 with fire blast and 1 with ice fire blast. Mixture of the dragon glass and steel under the blast of a dragon produces Valerian Steel? - This would make sense why Valerian Steel can kill the walkers. - Valerian Steel is a man made product - Obsidian and Iron is a natural resource Mixture of the dragon glass and steel under the blast of all 3 DRAGONS not only produces Valerian Steel BUT due to the opposites of the Dragon (Fire and Ice) it produces the metal needed to create the REAL flaming sword to be held by John Snow. Just a thought.... :)

nah. i think dany and jon will both die. and even if they dont, there's no way jon changes his name to stark/targaryen. he will have a bastard, bc the world is changing. and bastards will no longer be looked at as being living curses to those around them =) i think jaime and brienne will sit the throne, with a verbal acknowledgement of working towards democracy (in the years to come). sansa and tyrion up at winterfell what do u think?

I am not sure they both die. For me Jon is already dead because I assume he is a fire wight. He is useful for Rhollor as long as he has to fight the Night King. Once done it could be his last breath. Dany could die in child birth I see either Sansa or Dany ruling at the end.

Viserion isn't necessarily dead, he's a Whitewalker, which is different from being an undead wight. Also, a dragon is not a slave. I have a feeling that there may be hope for Viserion, to revive him back to a normal dragon, possibly by the work of the Melisandre, assuming she has the strength to revive a whole dragon (she was successful with Jon, but it wasn't fast acting, although it was also her first time doing that). The other possibility is maybe they find a way to break the Night King's control of Viserion, but he stays dead after that. That would open him up to being taken under control again, unless turning a being into a Whitewalker can only be done one time on each being.

I think we've already got the answer, because wights and Whitewalkers have different eyes. Wights' eyes are pale blue rings, while Whitewalker eyes are a darker, more vibrant blue. The show focuses on that a lot, too much for me to ignore it.

i doubt it. canon dragons have all different color dragon flame. and the colors dont determine its heat (unliek in the real world where blue flame is hotter than other flame)

Kev use your knowledge of Warcraft... Viserion is raised by the NK magic. Reminds me of Lich King cut scene. So my guess is he growing cuz he is magically infused. He was raised like a WW not a wight too. I think the WW do grow.. Craster kids being the WWs? I don't think he will Ever be quite as big as Drogon but think of fighting.. big and slow or fast and quick? Which is better? We have seen his speed already. My question is Where does Rhaegal fit in? We have 3 dragons and know very little about the third other than close to Viserion in size..or was.

In the side by side photos of Drogon and Viserion, Viserions mouth is open wider than Drogons, maybe he can clamp it around Drogons thicker neck?

Hey I noticed something else when viserion blowed the wall, viserion was quite fast and he is blue flame but according to science blue shift signifies hotness it more hotter than red flame. (Authors also follows science to create differences among character)

I've read the book and Drogon fights with Viserion. Viserion kills Rhaegar (the other dragon) by attacking from above but Dany riding Drogon completely savages the White Walker King upon Viserion.

I agree. He was already dead. He was converted in a circle though. All the dead, I'm sure including his 12 decirles, were surrounding viserion as he was converted as Danerys flew away too could see a circle closing. Also, blue and green flames actually burn hotter than ref and yellow flames. I think that's how the wall was brought down. The magic might have not accounted for dragon flames/blue flames. I'm am one of the tinfoil people that believes there's an ice dragon in Winterfell crypts. It can only be summoned by the horn of Winter and Bran will ride/warg it. He'll pull a mortal combat subzero thing and freeze the walkers while Daeny and Jon "burn them".
