How big of a statement win was this for Herbert and Chargers?

The Chargers are still a work in progress. Far better leadership putting them in better position to succeed than last year. I'd say one more good offseason and they'll be ready to make deep playoff runs in the seasons to come. But being on the verge of a playoff berth after picking top 5 in the draft is definitely something to appreciate. Harbaugh and Hortiz deserve all the flowers for turning the ship around so quickly.

A lot of flowers! The offense did get Alt, Ladd, and JK but lost Williams, Ekeler, and Allen. How good is Herbert or what? Throwing to basically a rookie #1 at slot and journeymen for the rest of his receivers and TEs. Another off season with Hortiz and Harbaugh...Chargers will be even better as you said! Fix the IOL, get a WR1, TE and the offense will be solid. An edge rusher and a CB1 for defense will solidify this already good squad.

Chargers fan- i think we could MAYBE suprise a team in the playoffs if we show up. But i dont see more than 2 wins at all. Either way idc. The team is a full 180 from the last few years with a bozo at headcoach. Its incredible to just be decent this late in the season.

As a Chargers fan, I believe they can upset the Steelers if that’s who they get to play; however, if they get to play KC in the divisional, I would not say they can’t beat them since they always play them well. Buffalo on the other hand, no Josh Allen would destroy them. This season has already been a success!

The Chargers have great talent. They'll make the playoffs, but they still need to be able to "run with the big boys". The KC, Ravens, TB loses show they need to elevate their game to make anything more than the first round.

They have some up and coming players.... both Fullbacks are tops, Stone Smartt is finally proving himself to make the big catch downfield. McConkey is everything we'd thought he be. Has 960 yards now with 2 games to go.

Only weird call I saw was a ref picking up a flag on a Denver td that was obviously a foul.Gave denver four pts
