Another great thing about classic prestige... People will have to use different guns and perks when they reset their ranks. So not everybody will be using the same meta loadouts and classes. Very good thing for variety. It makes levelling your guns up more fun as not everyone is running meta guns.

Except that's not what happens lol. Most people just don't prestige and those who truly grind get to prestige 4-5 easily and have their Meta unlocks, and their first unlock will be the best AR in the game and will just play with that a lot as they grind back up. Exactly what I did in every single cod like Bo2 you just unlocked the An94 and you were good using that until prestige 2 then you unlock whatever next. So no this idea don't work and not the reason why prestige is good as this has no effect on that really.

WW2 had the best reward system imo, the classic prestige system with prestige tokens, the camos, the weapon charms, THE UNLOCKABLE RETICLES, the daily and weekly challenges to unlock reward crates and weapon skins or “blueprints” it was the most rewarding unlock system in a cod game I have experienced, and it had fun modes like prop hunt and the HQ thing where you could like emote glitch and move around while emoting, it was so fun haha, I hope black ops 6 has similar cool stuff like in that game

I think a blueprint and camo reward system would be great for prestige rewards. Give a blueprint each prestige. Make a few like 3, 6 and 9 come with Mastercrafts. Give universal camos at a few of the others and at grand master.

Even if they make the game fantastic the next will be a disappointment. They know this so they will be holding off features to entice people to buy the new COD. Its an abusive cycle and I am done. Anyone that supports this will find out eventually. Developers will start targeting the COD community and COD will start to die. XDefiant started the trend giving an alternative for free. Its only a matter of time. Keep in mind simply making small maps, allow people to shoot each other for score, and having a score/progression system is all you need to compete now.
