I wonder if one century after it was written this song was sung in Boston. Maybe at a tea party ? "How blest are shepherds, how happy their lasses, ( and there, insert someone coughing in the public) While drums and trumpets are sounding alarms. Over our lowly sheds all the storm passes And when we die, 'tis in each other's arms All the day on our herds and flocks employing, All the night on our flutes and in enjoying."

Yuk. In orchestral into flute sounded like it was wandering in another field. Tepid Tenor's variations made me wonder whose music he was singing. Beautiful song butchered. Audience responded with tepid applause.
