How BMW Failed the M Division

Why didnt they put a M division modified V12 that the previous m760 had, with electric assistance in a X6 and give it a different exterior. Look at the ferrari Purrosangue. It is an SUV but not a huge one. It would be a great statement of a car. It would have been "First Hybrid M car and Last V12 BMW" at the same time.

Nice video! I've got an x5 M50i and even if money weren't an object, I would take it every day over the XM. Even though its not a true "M" car, it's got similar speed in a straight line & lighter so it's likely going to corner much better. It's also a fraction of the cost for a lot more versatility & in my opinion a WAY cleaner looking design. Especially looking at the front of the XM, none of it flows. I personally don't see the appeal of the hybridized v8 either. If anything I would rather it be full electric or just stick with the faster, better handling, better styled, and cheaper X5M.

BMW designers have lost their way and feel that sharp angles, cuts, vents and massive grilles are the way forward (influenced heavily by the Chinese market). Ironically I was just watching a video about the BMW Z8 which has to be one of the best looking cars BMW ever produced, yet the modern stuff is just shocking! They should call this the BMW M Origami!

ALL of the new BMWs are beautiful, and I'm not a BMW guy. Not only are they crushing Mercedes in styling and luxury, but they are getting away from couch potatoe fan/owners and making cars for more active, gym, forward thinking car owners
