What is value? I think something might be learned by looking at cryptocurrencies and past tries at making such a currency before (See Jaron Lanier's interview of the Lex Fridman podcast, especially at 1:02:50). There's also Gary Gensler's course on "Blockchain and Money" online (From MIT OpenCourseWare) that can bring perspective on defining the value of money and economics, in a broader sense and also in the US.
