How do you find trying to match the colours between the Panasonic and Sony color science. One of the reasons I'm probably selling my Sony gear is because I want to focus on just one system. Then I see you with this video, and again, I'm second guessing my decision. :) Maybe Sony AND Nikon is not a bad choice after all...

Fr though the value of the s52x is crazy Adorama had it for $1700 after tax with an 85mm lens included for free like 3 weeks ago

I know I just picked up a S5II, 85mm 1.8, 50mm 1.8 and 20-60mm 3.5-5.6 all for £1700 ($2169 equivalent) that's after tax. If I were to buy all of that individually it would be £3000 ($3827) after tax. Which is about about what a A7IV with the same amount of lenses would cost me. For a very similar camera, the value of the S5II is crazy.

If you need 4k/60 or 4k/120 uncropped its fx3. For everything else to be honest for video, Lumix s5iix

@@slurp3194 they do have good glass that is for sure. You can have all that and still have a crappy shot. It's not the camera is the man or woman holding it that makes all the difference. I grew up with Canon and Nikon. Started with a Canon ae-1, and Nikon D60 as I never used a Nikon film camera. Sony is good but until I get my hands on them I will say they are untested to me. I will always prefer Nikon for digital good performance and great glass of all I shot with. Canon much the same.

@@slurp3194 I also look at it this way,canon and Nikon are optical companies and have been in the Photography business for a very long time and are known for it. Sony is known for walkmans and the PlayStation. IMO Sony are the younger generation canon and Nikon as Sony has brand recognition for them. I shoot sports quite a bit and would never use a Sony, I shot with both Nikon and Canon and both are quite equal in performance. From what I am seeing from reviewers is Sony only positive for me is it's af system but that's it as the rest is comparable to Nikon and Canon. Plus I prefer hearing the mechanical shutter actuators going. IMO Sony are for those who don't want to think about the shot. My current good/bad ratio is 33/67%

That’s a great question. I don’t use them in the same videos. If I choose lumix, I only use the lumix for that project. And vice versa. I prefer the colors out the lumix cameras as they lean a little bit towards magenta as the Sony leans towards yellow/green. You can still match them pretty easily if you need to tho in post
