I have to say that I think this is one of the most beautiful songs I have heard in my life and I am 73. I miss music like this nowadays and the way she looked at him, oh to have someone look at me that way. Wow.

You are so refreshing to see and have on youtube, and I have always loved this song. I'm an 80s baby and I remember my parents playing this we were a family that appreciated "good" music. Omg this is once I listen to your voice you're from the south!!! Love it I believe in the lyrics he was having a stream of consciousness, so he was saying everything he felt, this is how I believe the lyrics were going.

Thanks, love. Yes indeed, I’m a Texas boy who has been living in Atlanta for 20 years. 😉 And yes, this is one of those soul smashing songs that reaches right down into your bones. Thanx 😘

Sure miss that beautiful music. Arrangement, voice, harmonies. OMG. This has everything a good song needs. Thanks Dax. Beautiful song. Btw, didn't even listen to the lyrics lol. Melody and instruments are all I need, so thanks for the lyrics. And btw, Grace has a new video out.

Thx Trip. Yeah, with good R&B, you don’t need the lyrics!🤓 I saw Grace’s new video and enjoyed it. Thanks!

@@daxmusix What's funny is that Grace forces me to listen to her lyrics. She's the only one that has ever done that to me. I had to watch her video twice before I liked it. And I'll probably like it more the third time. She mentioned she directed this video and the concept was also hers. So I guess she's getting into directing. This girl has so much potential.

OK, since you liked it more the second time, I went ahead and watched it another time, and I went in the other direction. I don’t like it. It comes across as melodramatic, overacting, manufactured (staring intently into the camera, dizzy camera revolutions, and sulking on a couch with floorlength braids). The music, of course, is stupendous, but I think I’ll pass on this video henceforth. Dang.

@@daxmusix Here's a response from Grace her self lol. It's an Instagram post before the video was released. She really cracks me up. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iHucd5ahaMl_l6M

@@daxmusix So first you said you loved it and it was one of your favorite R&B songs, now you don't like it ? Because of the video? I don't get it. Are you talking about the same song? Good songs are just good songs with or without a video. I guess video really did kill the radio. It sure is dead in 2022 and has been dead for quite some time.

Makes me think of the music I was forced to listen to today around the turkey table. Just one of those dated sounds I go and briefly revisit from time to time. Never stay too long. Glad you like.

It's wild to compare/contrast music like this to the questionable stuff on the air nowadays. It's like artists/producers just gave up and said we can't compete with that

Alan Parsons Project - Sirius/Eye In The Sky My late father loved this, which surprised the hell out of me at the time. I happened to play this one day when he came to my house. He had heard it before but didn't know who did it. I play other Alan Parsons that he also loved. I got him a Walkman and I made a few tapes for him. Wore them out and the player too, so I bought others for him and made more tapes. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l3O0kp-hfsp4bdU

Hey Paul. Great story about your dad. I’m sure I will eventually get around to Parsons. “Eye in the sky” is a brilliant song and my favorite by him. Thanks very much
